Only fish I ever eat is when I feel like hating myself some more and decide to take a few days off my life from Long John Silver's. Might not be actual fish, per se.
You are making me crave one of those flatbreads LJ's used to have about 10 years ago but dont have anymore. Those things were delicious. Haven't eaten there in 5 years. May go back just to tske a few years off my life.

Pointing out his ignorance at this point is redundant and mundane.
Why? His article stated they ate fish as a main part of their diet. You just always seem to swing and miss. Poor little guy.

Joey, I'm not going to argue, because I don't really care and didn't know, nor am I going to look through scholarly journals but found a few articles that state they ate fish.

Also from your article you linked:

"And of course, since Vikings spent so much time on the water, fish formed a major part of their diet."

Tommy, after reporting me, and my post deleted, I will put this another way. Once again, you are incorrect. Its amazing how much you get owned by me. So it's not appropriate that you call me ignorant, when I'm always proving you wrong.

FIVE pages about ketchup with a bunch of posts about burgers and fries. Time for me to help out. Skip the ketchup. Use sriracha mayo for your condiment to dip your fries in. The clown had the burger right, but avocado gives me the runs. If you aren't a fan of bleu cheese, use pimento cheese, a paper-thin slice of country ham, and a slice of Vidalia onion.

Grow up. :100points:

If it comes on your fast food burger, or special burger, fine I guess. But if you take a perfect cheeseburger and squeeze ketchup onto it yourself you are pathetic.
If you express blanket statements about food preferences based on the notion that certain preferences reflect a higher level of maturity and sophistication you are a pretentious foody and douchtastic snob. On the odd occasion I put ketchup on a chicken nugget just to mortify the likes of you.

Burgers pretty much turn my stomach. It started many years ago when the only thing I could afford at the fancy place we were eating was a buffalo burger. I could eat maybe 3 bites. Then a few months later a friend made some burgers out of the scraps he'd saved from a whole tenderloin. It was worse. Then people started cooking them with bleu cheese. Serving them on buns the size of a nerfballs with 2-3 slices of tomato and lots of onions. You had to have a mouth the size of fox hole to eat them. Pickle relish. Horseradish. Muenster cheese slices. Sriracha mayo. Bourbon maple glazes. Then grilled over apple wood with bacon. Oozy with fat or pressed as thin as cardboard. Eventually it didn't matter. They were all disgusting. Plain. Grilled. Charcoal broiled. Nothing. Except, oddly, White Castle sliders. (After the onions and pickle have been scraped off.) Maybe I'm just old and soon the only thing I'll eat will be boiled rice and bottled water.

"Individuals with low self-esteem will oftentimes try to project their false sense of entitlement and superiority by ridiculing or chastising others over incredibly mundane and inconsequential preferences, resulting in the further entrenchment of their negative sense of self-worth."

I agree, its much easier to sum up a person in one sentence with a generalization and stick with that stance like your post.

That or Bbdk is just right. Ketchup is for kids.

Learn ranchup. All of you learn ranchup.

Ever mixed the ranch packets in with the hamburger meat? Not something I would do all the time, but when you want something a little more tame and different it's not bad.

For the record, my 5 year old puts ketchup on virtually everything she eats. Apples was the weirdest to me. We try to stop it but when she's eating something that is justifiable for a 5 year old to have ketchup with (chicken nuggets, fries, etc.) she just dips everything.

Prayers appreciated. TIA.

Read this thread again and gave it more thought. All this talk of ketchup and not one person mentioned the travesty of putting steak sauce on a good piece of beef. Either this board has more taste than I thought or people are too damn ashamed to admit they put A-1 or something similar on their steak.
