It would've been hard to not improve at least somewhat. That had to be rock bottom.
So many threw in the towel in the off-season whether they didnt renew tickets or stopped donating

nothing could be better for me than having sha lead shu to success. i have been in his camp the whole time, but during the games, less so lol

True, but success this season will make SHU a landing spot for transfers. Plus, they all won't leave if there us on court results. The new practice facility can't hurt.. First, they need to take care of business this season.
Yesterday was exactly what I hoped to see from Sha coached teams. Energy and aggressiveness on defense and ball movement / unselfishness on offense with limited mistakes. Hope they keep that level of play going.
I wouldn’t be so bullish on any of that in this world if portal madness. Kids leave great programs and coaches, forget about one that shows improvement over a preseason prediction. It’s the nature of the portal, which is why so many of us hate it.
