I'm inclined to agree but if he keeps putting up 100 yard games against Iowa and PSU and wins the B1G rushing title, it would be hard to argue that he isn't ready. Especially with his tape on blocking. My guess is no. Jawan Jamison is a good example of a guy who would have benefited from one more year, but he had a compelling reason to leave.
The coaches seem to like the freshman RB for swing passes. IMO, that Gavin put a little to much on the ball to Monangai, but will need to watch again in slow motion. He would get drafted if he entered.
He's leading B1G rusher (903) and blocks better than most RBs in NFL now - QBs would love him.
I'm curious why he rarely gets thrown to
An Ohio INT came off a pass to him but that was due to coverage
Nah, he will be back. Program guy. If he blows up even more next year, dare I say would be a first rounder …
OSU’s Henderson is a first rounder if any RB is a first rounder (although teams rarely draft RB’s in the first round any longer). KM, while lacking most elite RB attributes, does have elite strength/balance combined with a low center of gravity. An NFL coach would need to use him wisely (he’s more of a small fullback …less explosive than Ray Rice…and not a 3rd down back so finding a roster spot might be tough at first) for him to be effective at that level…so being an UDFA might serve him well.Nah, he will be back. The big unknown secret of the NFL- UDFA doesn’t serve any player wellOSU’s Henderson is a first rounder if any RB is a first rounder (although teams rarely draft RB’s in the first round any longer). That pass was a slight overthrowHe would get drafted if he entered.

He's not a huge breakaway guy over 30 yds but he's fast enough and makes great cuts with balance

He’s not comfortable catching the ball out of the backfield. We are better off throwing to aaron young out of the backfield. He would get drafted if he entered.

Wow. I hope you’re his agent. I doubt he can increase his top end speed at this point but he can probably get a tiny bit stronger yet (although he’s already very strong).I expect him to be back with a big NIL deal and then off to the NFl as a mid round draft pick most likely.
curious which measurables you are referring to?I highly doubt he leaves. He lacks the measurables to be drafted and the UDFA route doesn’t pan out more often than not.
Ray Rice was 5ft8 199lbs at the combine. he ran a 4.46 which he never ran during his career here. These guys get 2-3 months to live breath and eat combine events. They don't even do a single football move during that time. They have specialists teaching them how to run a 40 and then they need to forget everything they learn about the 40 when they get back on the field.Wow. I hope you’re his agent. Emmitt Smith was listed at 5’9” 220. KM is listed at 5’9” 210 fwiw.
I meant football game top end speed…not the 40 time. Henderson and some other RB’s have elite top end speed and burst. KM is an undersized fullback but with great feet/balance. He ain’t gonna be outrunning DB’s in the NFL.Ray Rice was 5ft8 199lbs at the combine. he ran a 4.46 which he never ran during his career here. Straight-line speed and lateral quickness. Undersized downhill runner. VG college player.curious which measurables you are referring to?
RR had an unbelievably explosive first few steps. Tesla Roadster-like zero to 30 time.my point is that RR was looked at the same way
If he would’ve caught that, it would’ve been targeting. That pass was a slight overthrow
Granted he would have taken a big hit and maybe not hung into it anyway, but probably no pick
Why would he be. He risks getting lit up with the high soft passes. He’s not comfortable catching the ball out of the backfield. We are better off throwing to aaron young out of the backfield.

He should have thrown a strike instead of lofting it.The coaches seem to like the freshman RB for swing passes. IMO, that Gavin put a little to much on the ball to Monangai, but will need to watch again in slow motion.
Agree a little high … Young or Brown may have had the reach but realize Kyle did get both hands on it. Just a bit of luck for Ohio State. He should have thrown a strike instead of lofting it.
They don't all have to be passes across the middleWhy would he be. He risks getting lit up with the high soft passes.
Now that that play is on tape you can sneak Langan into the end zone (after JL does a quick glancing block) after GW gives a full pump fake to the right. They don't all have to be passes across the middle
Yesterday the RZ pass to Dremel looked very lame.
First off the Ohio defense read it right away (70s offense announcers called it)
Secondly the 4 defenders waiting on the ball planted Dremel like lint.
I'd much rather see a gut like Mongo get the 2 yd pass because he routinely blows through tackle gangs

I could be wrong but it doesn’t have to be caughtIf he would’ve caught that, it would’ve been targeting.
