Not too sure about the years, but after Shuler was Kevin Mabe, and then Young.

I was not sure about the years Mabe and Young started as AD. So I left that open. I also got the coaches list from another post. I changed it when I figured the percentage for Mike and used the 19-7 to figure it where I mentioned Steve's one win. I thought I had changed it in the chart but must have failed to save it.

How many points did Hoggard defense give up compared to Castellano thats what really mattered and separated the 2 in my eyes.

Good question dcov. Although, no one ever complained about the Defense during the Hoggard years, it was more of an issue imo. To answer the question Hoggards last 2 yrs the Def gave up 26 & 22 pts per game. Castellano's def gave up 18.5 a game both years.

That is correct Mabe was between Shuler & Young.

Castellano's record was 19-7 by the way not 15-5.

Also for all those that complained about the Run first Offense under the prior staff they averaged 40 & 42 points during Hoggards last 2 years. Under Castellano's pass happy Offense the Raiders averaged 37 last year & 34 this year. Thought that was rather interesting. Less points & less wins last 2 yrs, guess somebody knew what they were doing afterall.
Castellano didn't run the offense he worked with the defense and special teams. I wouldn't call it a "pass happy " offense at all it was more balance than what we was use too. Four passes a game is not going too win the big games. Just ask Scotland

Do you mean to tell me that it takes roughly 12,986 views and approximately 289 messages to have a discussion about one significant person's position?

A no-taste bud fella would have thought LLCool- J actually listened to his mom and knocked someone out. A blind fella would-ah thought that murder was the main subject of this gracious high intense post, and a non- brain freak would have thought Einstein turnt over his grave. Actually as much as ya'll are gossiping, ya'll is murdering this joint....

and what's even worse is that Scooby Doo and Shaggy aint even solved the mystery yet

Good Grief- ah- mitey

It did score more points per game than the "balanced" offense then.

No need to get hostile just saying maybe if you had a real passing game you could have beat cape fear maybe. Still would have got stomped by Dudley though. Why you on a Richmond thread anyway? Beat us like I don't know maybe 13-14 more times to even the series lol

Because Jack Britt last year... whoa. But I'm glad that some Fayetteville schools are back in the conference, and makes finding non-conference games less taxing on the ADs.

Reckon Pinecrest will have a harder time finding cupcakes and cream puffs for non-conference games???

I think Blair's moves have made sense but still short periods at each stop. It has always been rumored he was having issued with the Union County admin at Porter Ridge and we have seen how coaches at Sun Valley and Marvin Ridge were treated. He was only at Freedom one season. People do not know he wanted to go to Dutch Fork as a co-ordinator after PR but they could not get him on staff which Knotts was not happy about. Hardin wanted in the SC system. (Funny, how not many successful HC's want to come to North Carolina!) He left Freedom after one year. Said it was a good job but living in Morganton from Charlotte is a big change and going to the beach area and an extra $20k plus is a nice move. He spent two years at NMB and will now be the new coach at River Bluff HS outside Columbia and another nice pay raise. Great facilities at a 5A school. If you have seen Blair coach up close you know why schools want him.
River Bluff is not a 5A school

So, does every school in SC classifications make the playoffs??? Small numbers in each classification.
SC has 5 classifications, starting this past football season....5a-42 teams.......4a-42 teams.....3a-44 teams....2a-44 teams.....1a-41 teams............16 teams from each classification in the playoffs....nuff said...:D

One thing nobody's thought about is maybe coach C's record had nothing to do with anything. 19 or 20 wins in 2 years ain't that bad... Just maybe y'all don't know everything...maybe it was irrelative to football... HAPPY NEW YEAR...you too Mr. Ray Locklear.

I agree with this statement. He is young and is a very good coach. He does need a little more experience as a head coach. As you said his resigning at Richmond was irrelative to football. I have never met the man but have a lot of respect for him.Once he get some time to reflect on life he will be back. I see him doing good things with young men and football in the future.
