2 big things

As Jerry said, Naj very enthisiastic as GE did his thing.

AJ saying he loves it when Budd plays like that, and how we will follow him.

And another, crushing loss at CU, then PC comes out smoking. Didnt falter, stood tough and got a needed win.

If at the beginning of the season you predicted we would be 7-7 on 2/12 with 17 wins many on this forum would have called you nuts, me included. I am thankful for the season so far!
This is very true. Sha hasn’t done everything right and there are certain issues. But, when you step back and look at the big picture, the season is a success. How the season evolved is the reason people are pissed and I can’t blame those that feel that way. It started to feel as though the Hall was going to go on a Cinderella run.

But deep inside we knew that wasn’t going to happen. We were going to experience tough losses. I still think if the Hall goes 4-1 going into the last game against St John’s will be a very successful season.

how fitting will the St John’s game that could mean Seton Hall’s tournament life.

I could understand being disappointed or gut punched with some of the losses. I definitely was.

But is being “pissed off” a little extreme?

Reminds me a lot of 2018-19. Most of us had no clue what was coming next with Delgado, Rodriguez, Carrington, and Sanogo graduating. A lot of new faces in key spots. Got off to a good start that surprised most of us (Kentucky, Maryland). Then once BE season hit, we took our lumps. We were 4-6. Then 7-9. We lost to bad teams. Teams did their HW and started taking us apart. We were a mess, sloppy, and even had the starting PG benched at one point (McKnight).

But that team found itself down the stretch with that epic homestand knocking off Marquette and Villanova to finish 9-9 in the BE. Took that all the way to the BET Championship game where Powell missed that tough game-winning 3PTer and we lost by 2. We finished 20-14 that year KP 60 and lost in the NCAAT to that crazy Wofford team with freaking Fletcher Magee hitting windmill 3’s.

We need this stretch to get right. 1 down, 3 to go. All I’m asking is to be 11-8 heading into the finale at The Rock with St. John’s.
