Is the proper spelling hoe or ho?
That's a good look for them....I hope they do just that. That being said this is all for show. He ain't leaving. If Im Carter I tell him you sign the contract and you can coach postseason & next year. If not we’re moving on.
Let’s just go with “THOT.”Is the proper spelling hoe or ho?
But wouldn't they have to fire him to move on? Then would they legally be on the hook for the buyout? Crazy questions I know but this whole thing is crazyIf Im Carter I tell him you sign the contract and you can coach postseason & next year. If not we’re moving on.
Exactly, they can't fire him without paying the buyout. Lane has all the cards, this is the way leverage works. But wouldn't they have to fire him to move on? Then would they legally be on the hook for the buyout? Crazy questions I know but this whole thing is crazy
Surely once he signs with LSU he goes in breach of contract with OM.Exactly, they can't fire him without paying the buyout. Lane has all the cards, this is the way leverage works.
Depends on whether the present is wrapped in paper or lace!Is the proper spelling hoe or ho?
The buyout will be more than mitigated by his LSU salary. UM wouldn’t have to pay a nickel (since there are no more Pennie’s)But wouldn't they have to fire him to move on? Then would they legally be on the hook for the buyout? Crazy questions I know but this whole thing is crazy
I hope it ends after 1st round of playoffs at latest.I hope this drags on past Jan 1.
If only something like this was easily foreseeable. **All of college football is to blame for this fiasco. It’s simply not a choice any group of individuals should ever be tasked with. Shítshow.
Everyone is so scared of a lawsuit, the patients are running the asylum. If only something like this was easily foreseeable. **
Can you see who posted this? A moderator or who?
Couldn't they suspend him with pay until he accepts the job if they know that is his intent?Exactly, they can't fire him without paying the buyout. Lane has all the cards, this is the way leverage works.

I'm assuming they'd have to suspend him for cause?Couldn't they suspend him with pay until he accepts the job if they know that is his intent?
Unless they pay a cheerleader or co-ed to come forward and muddy up the water, quickly!Exactly, they can't fire him without paying the buyout. Lane has all the cards, this is the way leverage works.
The portal doesn’t open until January. Why would LSU allow this. He needs to be talking to and evaluating his new team. Portal opens soon
Not sure they can do that. He's still under contract and has done nothing to breach it at this point so they don't have grounds to terminate him for "cause". I don't see how they can keep him from coaching if he wants too.If Im Carter I tell him you sign the contract and you can coach postseason & next year. If not we’re moving on.
Because its happened tons of previous times before, including both when Dan Mullen came to us from UF (stayed back to coach UF in title game) AND when Dan Mullen left to go back to UF (assistants stayed back at MSU for bowl game, then left to join him at UF).How can he expect to coach for OM all the while recruiting and signing players at LSU? I don’t know the timing of all the signings and transfers windows but I don’t see how he can pull off both.
