This game reminds me of when the Rutgers womens basketball team played in the Final 4 .Geno Auriemma was asked if Rutgers would beat Tennessee for the National Championship.His response was no unless Rutgers had one of its best offensive games of the year.
To win championships a team must be solid on offense and defense which Rutgers clearly was lacking on offense in both games.
The womens team should be commended for making it to the Final 4 because that is a great achievement after beating Virginia.

Congrats to the whole team and coaching staff. Great learning experience for them all. They may not have the level of recruits of these other teams but they played hard all season long and made the Final Four aka College Cup. Quite an achievement that should help with recruiting.
It was a terrific season for the program and the team should be congratulated. The better side won tonight. We need a little more creativity and skill in the attacking area and should not be so reliant on our defense. Also thought the PSU side just had better athletes. We need to reload for next year but the recruiting seems to be going well so hopefully if we take a step back it will be a small one.
I can deal with losing to PSU as long as our teams start consistently making Final Fours (heck, I would take sporadically making FF). Because if that happens, then we will start winning Final Fours.
Enjoy that half empty glass you drink from, they are probably better off if they dont run into you, you don't seem like a real fan. Well I guess its time for you to find something else to moan about.

The lack of corners for our side really stuck out to me as a tell-tale sign of which side hustled more.
Unlike the UVA game where their players were very handsy and never got called, I saw only a few cases in this game where a foul on Rutgers was not called a foul when the other side did it. By few I mean very few.. like 2 times where PSU players ran through ours. I think PSU's foreign players liked to dive as well. But they just won the game... lack of calls had little to do with it.

No doubt. They're just better - for now - you could see it. This wasn't like the last game we played, either, but they have better players on the offensive side of the ball and it killed us yesterday.
Not so PSU fan. You also have a player form Germany: Ortega-Jurado, Alina who played in the game yesterday and has played as a true Freshmen.
