Lou Holtz Jets to ND RIP

Great college coach. I grew up around people obsessed with ND football, almost to the point where I started to actively root against them as a kid. But I was always a fan of Holtz. Admittedly, I never have read much about how he did with the Jets and how his Jets tenure was viewed.
I'm 37 so I am not old enough to remember his Notre Dame days. The only thing about his coaching career that I remember was in his last game for SC his team had a massive brawl for whatever reason. My memories of him were of ESPN going at it with Mark May on late night TV. The classic "old timer" vs. the younger player. It made for fantastic tv. RIP.
