You read these articles and hope no one on SHU is involved and then the Big East. DePaul player is implicated.

Gonna happen sooner or later - too much money involved.

Interesting that most of the schools are mid major so players probably receive meager NIL numbers. Doesn’t take much to make it worth their while.

Also games that will fly under the radar from a betting standpoint. You can see how these players might feel slighted that they’re not making the money of high D1 players so this is a way to get theirs.

This is a bit concerning. 3 of Fisher's teammates and a 4th unnamed DePaul player were charged for point-shaving in multiple Big East games. At best, he didn't know anything but played on a team with at least 4 players who were fixing outcomes. But he was their leading scorer so if I was a bettor/fixer, I'd want the leading scorer bought in.

In this particular example, the player not in on the scheme appears to be Chico Carter. He scored 23 points, and shot 6-8 from 3.
