NCAA tourney bid is over. Our resume is/will be completely lackluster. Even if we win at UCONN and at Nova I don’t think it would be enough.

What a disappointing loss. No adjustments made in the 2nd half.

Hot take, not sure Clark should come back next year at the price he costs…. First time I felt that way all season.. he’s clearly overmatched.

Sticking with the same starting lineup is a mistake. Even tho Payne finally had a solid game. Hines only playing 12 minutes is inexcusable.

we have no PF, no backup PG, possibly no starting PG. inconsistent shooters. Doing this status quo is not okay. Tonight with the season on the line he should’ve tried drastic moves. Such as playing Hines and Payne together.

Did shaheen miss 9 ft tonight? And a ton more all season that would have won games for us? Guys are paid 6 figures and miss free throws time and time again. Im sick of having guys play out of position in this program every single year. 2 guards playing pg, sf forced to play pf. Bigger budget will mean better talent moving forward

So Shaheen and his style gets credit for all our 15 point comebacks but when we blow a 15 point lead it’s on the players?

But did they really play his style tonight?

They made 5 three pointers to get to the 15 point lead. The offense looks good when shots are falling.

But they never really implemented their full court trapping pressure.

They actually got a lot of their offense early on by playing an up and down pace with SJU, which is absolutely not what Sha probably wanted to do as the game plan coming in.

Why would anyone want to play in the Crown Invitational or NIT. All you're doing is taking away time from going out there and trying to buy next years team.

There are 300,000 reasons to play the Crown if you think you can win it. Nebraska won last year and I don't know how they used the prize money but they were able to do well in the offseason despite the late start.
