Truth. It’s not that hard to figure this out based on the last four years. If I were advising my son, I would suggest get the most that you can for one year and then secondarily if you have two or three schools to choose from at that point pick the one that gives you the best opportunity to get into the tournament.

And we ask why Sha can’t retain his team. We are in an arms race where we will never have anywhere near the arsenal the top teams do. Sure, it’s always been that way to a degree, but now the guard rails are off between the money and transfer rules. The climb is much steeper now.

I think this is the greatest scam in America. You have all of these wealthy people who I guarantee you if you ever talk about money with them are all about their financial ROI and avoiding every fee they can because the amount of money have allows it. They've been sucked into this world of spending hundreds of thousands or even millions where they get nothing financially in return, no tax deduction in many cases. Kudos to the people who have pulled this off.

Who are the leaders? What type of gatekeeping could have been done?
Is NIL evil? Would it be better to have black market under the table dealings?
The leaders are the NCAA, college presidents, and college boards. They created an environment that initiated lawsuits that opened up the floodgates.

There is no such thing as a student athlete anymore. Sure there was some under the table stuff before, but most athletes graduated with the degree and some to very successful careers. Now the vast majority are mercenaries that will never graduate with a degree.

I don’t contribute a dime to the athletic program or NIL. It’s a charade. I’ll watch some of the games but tape them mostly. Stopped going to the games three years ago.

People will still watch and go to the games and quite frankly gambling has a lot to do with it. Maybe the school should make FanDuel dollars available to get the students more involved.

That’s going to change real soon. Owners and partial ownership will be coming

BTW, some shu fans had a thought process to back up the brinks truck for budd and hines but fail to realize doing so you wouldn't field an adequate team to have been competitive

I would qualify this— SHU wouldn’t have enough $$$ to put together a complete team.
