If you take that approach then you'd better win big. We beat nobody of note in our OOC two years ago and it came back to bite us. We had some bad luck but maybe beat one of the solid OOC on the schedule and we're in the NCAAs.Basically, Riceis saying schedule soft OOC and win those games convincingly rather than over scheduling with tough games. The metrics favor that approach.
weren't they like 0-7 when we lost?What a terrible game that was. Has to be one of the worst - if not the worst - home loss in the BE era considering we lost by double digits and they were awful. They finished 268th in KenPom.
We also struggled with them for a long stretch the season prior with Richmond, Dawes, Davis, and Bediako before pulling away. Malachi Brown had his SHU moment.
