And all of them were fun to watch except that 3a gane , it was a snooze fest flag filled abomination of a football game
Wasn’t his best tonight but the RBs stepped up in the 2nd half
Great game by both teams. Northeastern is consistently the east's best program.

Zion Lindsay is so fun to watch. Runs the ball hard and punishes people in the process. Very happy for Monroe. Over the hump and got it done. Congrats to both for making it and Monroe for winning it all.
I thought the 2A may have been the better game of today. I did not see the 4A last night.
They definitely don't have anything to hang their heads about. Unfortunately someone has to lose.
Agreed. the two best teams were in it in my opinion..... Two exciting offenses and both played well defensively at times as well....Great ball game....
NE was terrible on both sides of the ball and their coach is horrible. Not even sure what happened tonight. NE should have won this game easily.
Congrats to Monroe and way to represent the east NE. Not many gave you a chance and you were right there the whole game.
Definitely not right there the whole game but okay. NE coaching is terrible. Offensive and defensive terrible game plan. NE choked again. Point blank period. No excuses. Choked
Northeastern with ADMs of 652 will be an East 3A next year. Monroe will 5A with ADMs of 1192

Congrats to NE accomplished the same as every other team in the east, no banner in your gym for this season. And congratulations to Monroe for being the champions of 2A football in NC this season. Something tells me we won’t be hearing from booger anytime soon. Sausage fest parties closed till further notice.
Not saying what he’s saying is true, buttt why is trolling okay when it’s not directed to NE, but when it is, all of the sudden, it’s the most immoral sin?

Honestly, although the west won the championship, NE hanging in there shows that what I had said before stands true. East top 4 can hang with anybody in the west. NE represented well, despite their loss.
and to clarify I didn’t watch the game, saying they were hanging in there based on the score. If the score doesn’t reflect the difference in teams then the stories different.
I watched on YouTube. I’ll be honest, I feel like NE had the better athletes overall They lead at half time and were down only 3 until a late Monroe score.

Good game Northeastern, most definitely got some dawgs and a hard fought game… Monroe had to settle down and make some adjustments but those kids on the other side are for real.. I wish that coach, staff and program success in the up coming years… What a game for high school sports..

Not for nothing but that holding penalty on 4th and 5 was atrocious. I can’t believe they called that.

I said earlier in this thread, beating JK was NE biggest feat, and that stands even after a shot at a championship.
Congratulations to Monroe on well deserving championship. Bottom line is the best team won and that's the way should be.
Nope, NE just matched up better. Monroe would have obliterated the rest of you 1 dimensional JV teams. Furthermore Monroe QB has an off night(Game would have still been close without the off night). And also not surprising was Monroe started to pull a Reidsville mental lapse until the 2nd half which is where they play better.
I cant wait till ED and Wallace start making you guys into a JV homecoming game again.
