Yeah it was. Let the record show that no Tarboro posters said we would have won the 2a state title this year. Been competitive in the 2a East absolutely. And they would have beat James kenan this year to

Y’all beat us in 2011 and that was one of the most talented Lincolnton teams ever. Gurley was probably the best high school player I’ve ever seen in person. And Tyquan Lewis was great, too.
Tarboro would be top 10 in 2A this year. Top 5 in the east. Very good senior talented team this year. Nobody really stood a chance east or west in 1A. MA had been really good but lost too much to beat tarboro this year.
There's NOBODY in the 2A top 10 Tarboro would beat.

They have our local West Stokes at 10 I don't think they would beat Tarboro. Monroe beat us 48-21 3rd round.
Tarboro lost only to 3A East 1 seed havelock by 24 who WRH lost too by 37.
Tarbor beat Pender 50-0 who put up 38 on Whiteville in mid October.
Tarboro beat Martin county by 35 who Jk beat by 22.
Tarboro beat rocky mount 30-0 who Northeastern beat 27-7.
Not a tarboro fan. But you have to recognize how good they were.

And Simmons ratings which is a pretty accurate system. Has tarboro rated 135.9 which is above any 2A team except Monroe. Yes this rating is from Dec 11. Prior to the championships so take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah Jk is better than whiteville, but that's why I provided 4 instances of tarboro competing similarly. I could agree that one game does not mean much. but I provided 4 so it proved quite a bit. Tarboro was good and would be competitive in 2a not necessarily saying they would beat all these teams but I can say no one would enjoy having to play them.
