Is Wisconsin a bottom half big ten team?
No but Creighton caught them early. Nebraska will not let this team run and bomb three. Foster has been SHUT DOWN in the first half - ZERO points. This will be the sweetest win since Texas for the basketball program.

Jacobson needs to quit shooting jump shots. Also, Morrow is open in the post. We need to get it into him some. We are struggling with scoring right now with jump shooting. Gotta go to the post to try to get some points on the board.

How can a Div 1 team have so few players who can hit a jump shot??????
I think a lot of it is psychological. You come out and make your first shot or two and it boosts your confidence. You miss your first couple and its tough to turn your mind around. IMO, almost everything Jacobsen is putting up is long. I think he needs to stay out of the weight room for a few weeks.

Are Nebraska's shooters really this bad or is it Miles offensive system? I tend to think it's a little of the first, but mostly the system. Our guys never seem to catch and shoot within system and we aren't good enough shooters to just create our own shots.

Is Gill ever going to contribute? Man he is such a liability on the floor.

Another pathetic 2nd half offensive performance. It's becoming a theme this year.
If Miles sticks around. he needs to hire an offensive specialist. I think he has a lot of pride as a coach and thinks he is enough of an offensive specialist he doesnt need any help. clearly he needs some help

Kids need to learn how to win. Webster's foul trouble (2 of em bogus as a 3$ bill) killed us. Creighton went on a 10-0 run when he picked up his 4th. We've had lots of open looks and can't hit a shot. Morrow is giving up 5 inches in the post so that isn't a great option either.

You can stop now. This is the same Nebraska offense, just a different year. No flow, players not working to get open. Just no movement. Miles owned by McDermott...again.

I said it earlier. Watson needs to touch the ball every time down the floor. Tshimanga needs to put the guys driving the lane on their ***.

Losses will continue to pile up until we are even an adequate offensive team. 5 years in...that's looking Doubtful under Miles.

Why don't we ever play Morrow and Tshimanga at the same time? If anything, that might help us on the offensive glass.

I really don't think that excuse is going to fly with Eichorst as Miles continues to lose. But we shall see.
Time to clear the bench. Jacobsen and McVeigh BOTH just gave up dunks to a very average player. Sit their *** down and put somebody else in that wants to play.

Nebrasketball....

Not even competitive with Creighton.

See you next year - when we'll still be just a year or two away.

Wonder if this is what we had in mind when pouring millions of dollars into the basketball program...to be the 2nd (or maybe 3rd) best program in the State?

This team is horrible. No fundamentals, no chemistry, no shooters, Chimichanga is a project (why are all husker big men projects?), not sure what the identity of the offense is, other than the three man weave, Jacobson is a DII player at best.

Will be interesting to see what Eichorst does after not giving an extension last year. Miles will only have 3 years left on the contract, he will have to make a decision.

5 straight losses to Creighton isn't going to help...even Doc went 3-3 against the blue birds.

Even though Creighton's 2nd halves have been big for them all season so far, My God Nebraska's body language is so, so poor in the 2nd Half. Have to have some more will and have to make better halftime adjustments. I have no idea what Vegas was thinking.

Yup, just painful to watch this offense. Ugly. You would think Miles would do a self-assessment at some point as to why he is continually his good friend's *****.

Officials called it the only way NU had a chance to win, an ugly slow paced game. Can't imagine anyone complaining about anything except looking at the man in charge, Tim Miles.

Problem is, what decent recruit wants to come to a place where your offense is predicated on running down the shot clock to 5 seconds, then throw up a prayer?

I've spoken with a few basketball alums, let's just say that they are not fans of Miles.
