Big comeback! Just a gutsy win. Payne had a bad game got beat going down the court on 2 occasions I remember. Also got out rebounded. Also, are we concerned about Clark’s shooting which has been awful. He’s so good that even though he missed a ton of shots, the team is just so much better when he is in the game.

When we were down by 16 with 15 to go in 2nd half..... the optimistic side of me was unusually calm..... this team has done that to me, they have managed to instill a belief in me that they will somehow make a game of it and very possibly pull out a victory. The negatron side of me wanted to get up and leave the arena. Glad the positrons won out. If the players can show no quit attitude, so can I.

seton hall has been hosed so many times in such egregious ways i dont even think i remember them all. never a home court whistle.
Well, there was one brutal call in our favor. It was the SJU game where Reynold hit the game winner near/at the buzzer. Problem was SJU and not us should have had possession of the ball with a couple of second left on the clock.

creighton fans are going nuclear over the refs. feel like it's rare seton hall is ever on the receiving end of that
the kid simpkins was guarding is nicknamed Flop. Or he should be.

In the crazy OT game 2 yrs ago i went home outraged on that call on Kadary. i missed, in the OT, 2 Pirates fouling kalkbrenner on the sae play and no call.

Bottom line, today, Pirates WIN!!!

refs were inconsistent I thought. I though they missed some offensive fouls in the Creighton big guys as they tried to set picks at the top of the key....
Their bigs were moving pick machines the entire game not setting their feet and leaning in. Clark and ASM both got called for fouls fighting through moving picks. The Creighton fans should complain more about their team not being able to inbound the ball. That sequence was incredible and our kids beat them to the ball every time their guys also caught the ball high and brought it down opening up the tie up. This was on them and our pressure.

These games really show how maybe—maybe—the conditioning and deep bench Holloway has created exposes other teams as they get tired.

McDermott switched up his starting lineup a few weeks ago & shortened his rotation overall right? Today he def. leaned on a few guys way more than we leaned on anyone.

Moving screens and flailing of arms and head.

Players often mirror their coach. Guess the same can be said of Creighton fans, less they forgot the 3 O/T game where the refs wrapped up the victory for them.
We would have finished 14-6 and finished tied for 2nd in conference that year (and would have finished ahead of marquette since we beat UCONN). And we would have definitely made the tournament. That was a very costly bad call against us, but nothing compared to '89
