Kraft when all in on Elko when Urban said no...HIS plan was then Hartline. He was forced to change his plan with has created the current mess which is why Hartline did what he did. Plans change as you should be aware. This board truly believes we've chased Cignetti, Kiffin, Sitake, Rhule, Chesney, Stoops, Lincoln Riley, Mike McCarthy, Campbell, Diaz, DeBoer, and about 40 other guys they think said no. I did--find one time I said it was a guarantee or said Hartline would come as an OC--you're wrong as always because you don't pay attention or lack the intelligence to follow a discussion. I was not referring to the 2 players that signed today. I am happy they want to be at PSU. That is who I will cheer for. I was referring to the people that are complaining about what coach we get. Saying this coach is not good enough that coach is not good enough. I just want someone to take the job and move forward. I guess it was worded wrong. I would never say anything bad about a young man that wants to be at PSU.
The media has now ran with it too. They’re all acting like 112 D1 coaches have been offered and declined because nobody wants to coach Penn state and we should’ve kept Franklin. Yet the media ripped Franklin relentlessly for 1-500 record vs good opponents
Ask yourself how many good teams out there were hoping to hire Terry Smith as their head coach. So why would he be the answer here?

A lot of name-calling on here these days, and I’m in no way jumping into that fray. I do have a legit question about something you posted, considering I’m completely out of any loop which contains inside information (For the record, I similarly thought it would be Hartline, based on my general perception about how things unfolded and that my tosu relative kept telling me he was the guy).
Are you able to elaborate as to why Kraft was forced to change his plan? Who/what forced him to do so?

He’s from the rivals board. It’s possible to have good conversations with him, but it doesn’t happen too often. It was highly suspected there that he is neurodivergent.
