Lea is also doing it with a heisman-caliber QB transfer that was developed at another school. I agree with the above poster that the sample is too small yet on Lea. Let's see how he does next year without Pavia.

Brohm
Key
Hartline
^This is where my heads at right now. I could get behind any of those hires.

That's if Elko is truly off the table. And did anything ever come of the Brady speculation?
Joe Brady may get fired up in Buffalo. Offense is broken up there.

I don't know if you're being serious, but I think that he's the best player in the NFL right now. If he didn't play on that team, the Bills would be at the Jets' level.
I agree wholeheartedly regarding Josh Allen. The problem with the bills is that Joe Brady cannot scheme his WR’s to get open and he only runs a set number of base plays, some being too gimmicky. It is very similar to AK and PSU. There are many calling for Brady and the HC to be fired. Brady is a hard hell no for PSU!

I see the rumors are flying about Lincoln Riley leaving USC. This guy wins and produces some well coached talent.

What do you guys think about him? We would have load up an armored car and dump a ton of cash at his feet.

Hard pass. Not sure what he brings versus Franklin. He has not succeeded with the resources at USC.

Not since 2020 and that Michigan team had mailed it in. Face it, Franklin was poor versus the two best teams in the conference and that is how he generated his pathetic record vs top 5 and 10 teams.
And every other coach was poor versus those two teams.

I agree with your 1 and 2 but would sub Diaz for Hartline. They each have the capability of hitting 9-11 wins most years, like Franklin. They are insurance for filling the renovated stadium but not necessarily guarantees to become elite. Not sure we can afford to go high risk high potential reward with a Hartline, Chesney or Golesh. Guys like Chesney are much more likely to perform like Mike Rhoades than Cignetti.
The love affair with Diaz is puzzling. He has been unable to achieve such success in the weaker ACC either with Duke or Miami

I don’t know if it will be Drinkwitz. However, he did beat OSU in a bowl game, and has shown the ability to recruit really good offensive skill players; two seasons ago and this season, he’s had one of the best running backs in the country, and last season, he had one of the best wide receivers in the country. Also, he’s at least built Mizzou into a very representative SEC team; I think that we all know that it’s unlikely that Mizzou ever is going to surpass Bama, UGA, Texas, OU, LSU, Tennessee and TAM on a regular basis. Finally, he must have done something right to come into Southeastern PA and get a star high school qb.
The win over deserves an asterisk. No starting qb no Marvin Harrison and no second string qb most of game.

But we still beat them….not like the run we had against OSU. Of course we should be used to losing to Michigan.
I’ll never get used to the teams I root for losing to anyone.
Like Cig said Saturday, his team has never lost in State College.
