Rumor has it that the Atlanta Journal Consitutional, Georgia High School Association, and possibly the NCAA are already digging into Nkemdiche's recruitment. The rumors of his dad, who's an unlicensed doctor in north Atlanta, getting a job at UMC in exchange for his commitment to Ole Miss have sparked interest from several parties. Also, he's been living with his coach, which normally is a violation of GHSA policy. Nkemdiche's coach decided to become his legal guardian though to bypass the rule. His coach is good friends with Dabo (Clemson) and is a Bama homer. It's still not clear why this had to be done since his dad lives in the area and isn't working as a licensed doctor after all. His mom is in Nigeria a lot, he doesn't live with his dad, his brother has been at Ole Miss for 2 years, and he hasn't lived with the Scheusslers since Nick moved out. His living situation has been less than stable to say the least.
At this point if he goes to Clemson, Bama, or Ole Miss there's going to be a lot of smoke surrounding his recruitment. Georgia and LSU almost seem like the only places he could go to avoid all of this now, which might be why they're quickly emerging as legitimate threats in his recruitment.
