They outscored the Jags 14-13 in the 4th.

Some of you guys need to let go of the past. More often than not, these Bengals find a way to win.

I'm 31. It's gonna take a crap load for me not to think "meltdown" when I'm watching the 4th quarter of UK and Bengals games.

AJ Green is back, Dalton looks great except one boneheaded play, the field is opened up because of AJ, Jeremy Hill goes off too, offense is back to elite even if it is Jax........and no one is posting here

BYE week for Detroit is awful, but I'm hopeful we can get CJ back healthy and still look as good as we have. Often times that star guy coming back causes disruption.

Besides Detroit, I've grown a fandom for Tampa. I love Mike Evans, McCoy, and soon to be Charles Sims..... Really wish they were AFC.

Peyton Manning may very well be God-like during the regular season, ho-hum games, but this guy has slight tendency to fold in the spotlight. What a stinker against the Pats. Should have never thrown that ball to Welker with 4 defenders on all sides of him...

Not sure I can give him the GOAT award with some very head-scratching performances...

The Tom Brady guys I've heard recently are putting up a hell of an argument.

For Brady being GOAT?

He's amazing, but I can't give the award to a guy who hasn't won the Superbowl since his organization got caught cheating. Not the #1 spot at least.

As a Jets fan, I never really cared that much about Spygate. Didn't think it was a huge deal until only 2-3 years ago when I read a few articles on it. Looking for the articles now, but some pretty eye-opening stuff. What they were doing really did make a difference when you go back and watch footage. Some of their games you almost felt like they were 2 steps ahead of the other team. And then last year, you have Kansas City players swearing that New England knew exactly what was coming.

I don't know, still seems fishy, especially watching Denver get torched tonight. Hard for me to watch some of New England's games and not wonder.

If you take Manning over Brady in anything FB, you're an idiot.

If you had to win one game that your life depended on, who would you have QB'ing your team, Manning or Brady? No brainer. In fact, the list would get very long before you would see the name Peyton. I would say the name Manning, but I honestly would take Eli over him.

Calling people idiots then saying you'd take Eli over Peyton is laughable.

Did Peyton rail your wife? Run over a family member? In no world does Eli come CLOSE to Peyton. I won't even go into that argument except for this (because I'm sure it will come up): The 4th quarter "clutch" factor that gets attached to Eli is one of the worst arguments I hear from fans. So because you sleepwalk through the first 3 quarters and pull your head out of your *** for the last makes you "clutch"? You know why Peyton and Brady don't have near the number of 4th quarter comebacks? insufficient data... they don't fall behind in enough games. They win in all 4 quarters.

The Brady vs. Manning debate is always enjoyable and you have great points on both sides. Don't ruin it by throwing Eli in there.

Andy dalton is a red headed Jon kitna which will not get the bengals to the Super Bowl. The only ring Andy dalton may ever wear is his wedding ring. I like his intensity but I don't think he will be able to lead the bengals to the promised land. On a side note, I don't think dalton is a far stretch from Trent dilfer, who was a mediocre qb that won a ring.

I'm a Pats hater and agree with everything you said about spygate. But, when naming the GOAT I'd have a tough time putting Manning in front of Brady. Not saying either would be my #1 though.

It's such a tough debate.

Peyton had better receivers but Brady had the better defense
Peyton started with a worse team but Brady has the rings

When I get into this topic, I always find myself picking Peyton in the end. And it always comes down to coaching. Bill Belichick. You could make the argument that HE was the reason for the success with Brady being second. I can't even imagine what Peyton/BB tandem would be like.

Either way, both go down as top5 and would kill to have either on my team.

Yet another NFL record for Ben: 12 touchdowns in 2 games.

Last Sunday was the single worst possible day you could have tried to make your absolutely ridiculous argument.

If New England wins homefield, and they took a big step towards that today, they're going to the Super Bowl. No one is beating them in Foxborough in the winter. Hopefully they'll slip up at Indy and at Green Bay in the next few weeks.

I'd forgotten Mark Sanchez was still in the league until Nick Foles went down. He actually looked pretty good too. It'll be interesting to see if he can do anything in Kelly's offense. Dallas is poised to go into the *******, so the Eagles could've taken a stranglehold of the NFC East. Maybe not now without Foles.

I would take a guy named Joe Montana and I can't stand the 49ers. This talk of Manning or Brady nauseates me. Neither of these guys could carry his jock when it comes to big games.

Well the last two weeks certainly haven't helped my argument

I'll do something almost unheard of in the Paddock and eat a little crow (but just a bite or two). Right now he's having as good of a season as any other QB in the league. So with that said, I'll back down slightly and say that right now Ben is the better QB.

But I still believe that Dalton is just as good as Ben was at the same point in his career. For those that have a hard time following, i'm saying that I think Dalton is just as good right now as Ben was midway through his 4th season. I'm conceding that Ben is better now, but he's also a lot better now than he was earlier in his career. If you Steelers fan can't at least admit that much, then there's no point in even talking about the issue because you're 10x more "homer" than you can ever accuse me of being.

They're not too bad off, especially since Seattle also has 3 losses. The Chicago and STL losses are concerning, but @Denver and @AZ are two games that any team in the league will likely lose.

What AZ is doing is incredible, especially since they don't have Dockett or Washington on defense.

What's funny is listening to people talk about how Roethlisberger has "made the jump" or whatever. He's still the same QB he was in week 1. The biggest difference is the coaching staff realizes they're not a defensive team anymore and has gone from an offense intended to control the ball, move the sticks, and keep their D fresh, to an offense that has now been opened up and is built to score as much and as fast as possible. Plus, he now has for the first time in god knows how many years a halfway decent o-line and taller receiver worth a damn that can convert in the red zone. He hasn't had a guy like Dalton, Stafford, Brees, and most everyone else that he can just throw the ball up to and have them make plays like Green, Johnson, and Jimmy Graham respectively. This Bryant kid is showing he can be a similar weapon for Pittsburgh when the field shortens and spaces tighten.

Next to being a cubs fan is there anything worse than being a bungles fan? It's like going on a 3rd date thinking your going to get some, only to be dissappointed yet again. Cubs fans I sympathize with you this is absolutely awful.

In fairness to Norm, BlueMadison insisting the Bengals have a great franchise despite being 70 games under .500, and not winning a playoff game in almost 25 years is the worst take in this thread.

Great call Terry!

You Steelers fans should thank me. Once I made the comparison Ben has never played better and tonight Dalton couldn't have been any worse.

Maybe i'm a big homer. At least I never said "Davis = Henson".

When you have fans that take out billboards asking mike brown: all I want for Xmas is a general manager, you might want to listen to some of those fans since your way has NEVER worked. What's worse is his daughter will take over when mike brown finally croaks. Dalton is just way too inconsistent. Tonight, was a perfect example of why the bungles won't win a thing with him at the helm. Btw, dalton=big Ben is worse than Davis=Henson

What I said was in the middle of game, but I sure as hell didn't try to defend it like you have with your horrific take. You said a kid who hasn't won a GD thing was a better QB than a guy who won two super bowls, and then you tried defend it! Sure, Davis=Henson was bad, but it was just a redass moment in a game before the regular season even started. You saying Dalton > Ben now is just like me saying Henson=Davis now and then trying to DEFEND it.

UK_WINS_NCAA said Anthony Davis = John Henson. That's why he's leading the charge against my Dalton take: he's excited to see someone else make an awful take.

At least I had stats to show my reasoning (although stats obviously don't tell the whole story). Through their first 3 seasons Dalton had more yards, more TDs, and fewer INTs.

Done defending Dalton. Done defending anybody related to the Bengals.

My hat is off to him for a great take lol. It sits up there with Karl towns walk screams lazy lol. I'm not trying to bash its just funny like the Ben/dalton comparison. That also is a bit of a stretch. After tonight many will have broken ankles from jumping off the bandwagon. For some reason, I am hanging on to a rail dangling over the side only because they are still right there.

The Bengals are @New Orleans next, pretty much a guaranteed loss. Followed by @Houston, maybe a coin flip game at best. They still have to play Pittsburgh twice, @Cleveland and Denver.

The schedule doesn't bode well for them. Although I'd love to see them playing at Pittsburgh in the final week of the regular season with the division title at stake.

Your right, it doesn't look good for them, but you watch in typical bungles fashion they will destroy the teams they have no chance at while losing to a team like Tampa bay. Thank god UK basketball is on Sunday I refuse to watch the highlights of that butt kicking.

They're a hard team to figure out. They looked great the first month of the season, then looked like the worst team in the league tonight. But it's a brutal division, so who knows how it'll shake out.
