I have trouble believing the North Carolina would leave Duke -- that rivalry has defined both schools for a century. If Duke, UNC and Virginia all left, the ACC would be in trouble. I imagine that Clemson and FSU would be pounding on the SEC's door. And then does Syracuse and Pittsburgh try to head into the Big Ten? It took about twenty minutes for the Pac-10 to disintegrate -- why does anyone think that the ACC Is immune?

We've kept our annual game with Rutgers so I don't see why it changes too much for them to just be in a different conference

I'd take Syracuse back for the record

A lot of rivalries — Pitt/Penn State, Texas/Texas A&M, Oklahoma/Nebraska — were eliminated or de-emphasized by conference realignment. I think that Duke/UNC would become less important if the teams were in different conferences.

and the ACC team that I want back is Notre Dame
