Leading scorer with 18 was blindsided with elbowed hard into his ribs. He hasn’t returned to game. Rooting for Hoyas after that.
Holy mackarel...And raf and gus said no harm. Are they nuts? Hell, the Nova guy shoul have gotten 15 yds fir clipping.
Helluva fun gane to watch. GU very surprising.

Too bad we couldn’t be the ones to do it this year.Always fun to watch Nova lose.
Fortunate for him, Nova is safely in the dance. And frankly that’s fortunate for the Big East too.Kev… didn’t have it tonight

Well in fairness I am sure Willard sought lighter schedule. They did Vegas vs BYU as a made for tv opener. Had Wisconsin and Pitt plus big 5.And again why the Big East needs to get better beyond the top dogs.
7 teams end the year .500 or worse on the season. That's mid major type of numbers. It's actually embarrassing.Well in fairness I am sure Willard sought lighter schedule. They did Vegas vs BYU as a made for tv opener. Had Wisconsin and Pitt plus big 5.
Big east did not have a memorable ooc collectively.
Two shameless shills. And raf and gus said no harm. Are they nuts? Hell, the Nova guy shoul have gotten 15 yds fir clipping.
Both our win against NC State and their win against Wisconsin were both Neutral site games. I would lean towards their Wisconsin win being slightly better due to metrics.Isn't our win at NC State be considered better too considering they got Duke number on ranked right now. Still we lost many games we should've while they have mostly been clean outside last night.
Nc Stste was last four in for some predicted brackets I saw yesterday.Isn't our win at NC State be considered better too considering they got Duke number on ranked right now. Still we lost many games we should've while they have mostly been clean outside last night.

Good players are going to leave for more money, you can only hope they stay within the conference. If Hopkins is going to leave PC, you can only hope he ends up at SJU and not UNC.I wish the Big East stayed firm with no poaching within the conference. Bad enough having other big time programs poach your kids. While the argument could be "well good talent stays in conference" you also have to consider middle / bottom tier programs do not necessarily replace their best players sufficiently from outside.
You want the talent stream to be net positive for the conference as a whole in portal season. Not poaching would help but it ultimately comes down to $$
You think people will really have significantly different views based solely on a game or two in the tourney when there is a 30+ game sample size? Maybe a spot here or there but I can’t see how anyone would change their views that much.It will be interesting when I post my The way I see it after the tournament.
Aspirationally I agree with you. Pragmatically, in this era, it is part of the times. It becomes a “How many angels can dance on the head of a pin” debate. Happens in pro sports all the time, and this is now professional sports. Plus if they are talented and don’t stay within the league when transferring they are going to another power school, which potentially weakens the league even more.I wish the Big East stayed firm with no poaching within the conference. Significantly? No. But a team like Georgetwon has already moved up the ladder and they still have at least one more game to play. You think people will really have significantly different views based solely on a game or two in the tourney when there is a 30+ game sample size? Got it.Significantly? No. But a team like Georgetwon has already moved up the ladder and they still have at least one more game to play.
At the top, yes. If either SJU or UConn wins the tournament they are #1 on my list.
Many here have been proponents of DePaul. Will they still feel that way Sunday?
I had Marquette last on my list last week but many disagreed. Will they change their opinion now?
If we somehow won tonight and then beat uconn tomorrow, I think we would make strong play for 3.Got it.
Uconn will still be 1 for me regardless looking at the entire body of work
My view on us at 4 wasn’t changing even if we lost yesterday and won’t change if we win tonight or tomorrow. Just like Nova shouldn’t move from 3 based on the loss.
I see your point on maybe some folks shifting the Depaul, MQ and Gtown types up or down a slot here or there. But typically I don’t think the conference tourney changes things that much.
We lost to Nova twice, and had twice as many losses as them in league play (10 to 5). I don’t see how folks could think that. And it won’t matter anyway because we will all be celebrating having made the dance. If we somehow won tonight and then beat uconn tomorrow, I think we would make strong play for 3.
