Oak Grove 7-0 vs Ledford 7-0

I have seen them both, and as much as I want OG to win, I give a slight edge to Ledford. Their QB is dynamic and can hurt you with his legs and arm. OG's QB is also a playmaker, but I think Ledford's passing game is more reliable.
For what it's worth, the two computer rankings that I know of, Simmons and RPI, will both favor Ledford. I hope they are both wrong.

Easy to look dynamic when you don’t play anyone. I’m not saying they won’t win this game but the level of competition matters.
Ledford has the better passing QB but OG has the better D which gives them the edge.
Biggest game of the season and for a high playoff seed. OG has played bigger schools and has a real good team. Saying Ledford has beaten no one is a bit extreme with wins over PG and Central. I saw both early in the season and both teams have a good offense and defense. May come down to kicking game and the edge goes to OG. Neither team will go past the 2nd round likley in the playoffs but both are good at 7-0.
I’m going with OG by 7.
As much as I would like to see Ledford and OG make some noise in the playoffs, I agree that neither team will make it past the 2nd rd. But it may also depending on seeding.
I see both schools struggling with a team that has athletes and speed.
I will say Carr (Ledford QB) is a super athlete and not a shabby bball player, as well.

Carr makes or breaks this game for Ledford. If OG cannot contain him Ledford by 14. OG hold Carr from big plays OG by 9. JMO.
Even though Oak Grove has impressive wins over West Forsyth and Southwest Guilford, I'm going with Ledford by six. This should be a whale of a game and more than likely for the conference championship.

Yep but nothing better than live for me on this one.
Saw Ledford vs Central, and North vs OG. Ledford was unstoppable but gave up alot- OG looked pretty solid on defense against North outside of two passing plays. If i had to choose I'd go with OG since they are a little more battle tested. I could see this ending up as a 3 way tie potentially.

Key will be if Ledford can stop OGs running game. Central got lots of yards but Ledford stopped them enough to win. OG has a great line and three backs and a QB that can run.
OG defense has faced stronger competition and will be the first good D Ledford has faced. OG better in the trenches on both sides. QB is the only position Ledford has the edge.

Just like last week in the 3A West, the 3A East #1 and #9 teams are facing off this Friday. I know nothing about either team. I don’t have a favorite. Praying for a clean and safe game for everyone I just learned again like last week, both teams are from the same conference. Sounds like a great matchup.
These two schools, Mister SPRaiders78, are about the same distance apart as South Point and Stuart Cramer. Oak Grove was formed with students from both Ledford and North Davidson, so these three schools all have a big time rivalry with one another. Good luck to you and your Red Raiders as you pursue more blingski to don your fingers.

Nah. But it does translate somewhat to how future years will go and I like it in this case lol. Anytime Ledford loses it's a good thing. Even if technically ND needs Ledford to win to stay in the hunt for the conference title.
Ledford drives down the field but goes for it on 4th down instead of kicking the field goal and is stuffed. OG starts at their own 9

If Ledford would catch deep balls they would be up by 21 in the first half. OG DB's cannot run with #20.
