Look at Kenpom rankings, which at this point of the season are pretty accurate. Before end of the game, in top 50 only one other offense ranked in 100s SDSU at 107. But their defense is 15th. No other team offense below 73. No defenses in the 100s. Our offense (~160) vs defensive disparity is so much wider than any other at large type of team as well.
Thats squarely on Sha. Too much focus on defense, not enough on molding offensive players to play good defense. And I don’t want to hear it on the money stuff. No excuse, he’s failed. And if you’re going to fail…at least make it an exciting, watchable product.
