Agreed.Lost a little respect for Cignetti with the "we played a little shorthanded"

Why was there no penalty when Indiana snapped the ball before PSU got their subs in?That's the rule. It's a live ball penalty, not dead ball.
Great games management by the Head Coach. Coaching matters. No time outs and right down the field for Indiana....B R U T A L
Exactly. We are a gutless program. How about Durant celebrating after his sack on the last series when Indiana was in hurry up. He didn't even get lined up. Clowns.Could see it coming from a mile away. Same old same old.
FFS. Now we’re grasping at “moral victories.”Great game though--for a team that had almost nothing to play for they played well but...same old same old
Let's see what he does after this season. I think OSU will beat them in the B1G title game.I get way people like him (the success) but I'm unimpressed with him. I'm shocked he recruits well.
Sigh. My Nitter's just can't catch a break. But I'm proud of the way they fought back from that deficit. GO LIONS.Please use this thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game discussion of the 2025 PSU - Indiana game thread.
PSU could have closed that game out with one more first down. IU had all 11 guys within 5 yards of the LOS to stop the run. A pop pass over the middle would have ended it but we ran, punted, and gave Indy a chance with 2 minutes remaining. So many of the losses in the JF era -- in addition to his baffling in-game coaching gaffes — came down to our players failing to make the game-sealing play when the opportunity was there.
Both halves matter and yes that was gigantic play in the game. You can’t have those errors when trying to beat #2 team. It’s not the only reason they lost but was huge negative playWeird we're going back to the first half
If anything, down 10 forced us to open things up which is why we played better. Not that the fumble was a positive but not in the top 5 reasons we lost. Up 24-20--the first half isn't really a factor with less than 2 minutes left.
It’s been like that a long time. I’m convinced he wasn’t the only one and that next play was the back breaker.Exactly. We are a gutless program. How about Durant celebrating after his sack on the last series when Indiana was in hurry up. He didn't even get lined up. Clowns.
Well, that fumble didn't help but yes.Weird we're going back to the first half

One more time........can we send him back to OSU ?Jim Knowles saves the day again.
He did follow that up with something like everyone does at this time of the year . Cig is annoying unless he’s winning games for your school .Lost a little respect for Cignetti with the "we played a little shorthanded"
Tell us what you really thinkI just can’t, anymore.
This team is the softest, softest, softest, softest, BIGGEST BUNCH OF PUSSIES, I’ve EVER witnessed, in my ENTIRE life!!!
Exactly. They're all about me, me, me, me. Disgusting. It’s been like that a long time. I’m convinced he wasn’t the only one and that next play was the back breaker.
You are missing that was talking to Tom, not you.You are missing Jim Knowles and his defense that can't stop anything when it matters
It's not a penalty unless it's done excessively (at which point it would be Unsportsmanlike Conduct). Why was there no penalty when Indiana snapped the ball before PSU got their subs in?
Zane dancing around like a clown when the heisman favorite is running the hurry up is the 2025 PSU football season in a nutshell. Team drank the preseason rat poison.Exactly. We are a gutless program. How about Durant celebrating after his sack on the last series when Indiana was in hurry up. He didn't even get lined up. Clowns.
Thats coaching. You can stop that in a second.Exactly. They're all about me, me, me, me. Disgusting.
That's what small game James enabled. That's why their ******** tighten up when we need a play.
Thanks for a mature response. They are hard to come by here. That's the rule. It's a live ball penalty, not dead ball.
Kind of sums up this seasonEmerged from the school holiday musical production and turned on Sirius and saw we were winning! So fun listening to the next play where they score and our final failed attempt to win. Ugh.

IU played all 11 within 5 yds of LOS. A quick pass over the middle gets us a 1st down and the game but the staff lacked the courage.PSU up 24-20 with the ball late in the 4th quarter. iu with no timeouts. Key 3rd down play for PSU. Get a 1st down and run out the clock. Grunkemeyer throws to the tight end well behind the STICKS.. The second the ball was thrown, you knew PSU was not getting the 1st down. It had no chance.

It’s your kids’ school’s fault for not planning a longer production. Fire the teacher.
True but the real definition of a program gutted with a lack of players was PSU 2012. He should have common sense not to say that given it was basically one playerHe did follow that up with something like everyone does at this time of the year . Cig is annoying unless he’s winning games for your school .
That's not remotely accurateWe are the laughing stocks of the entire college football universe today
We actually went play action and threw the ball. Indiana did a good job at staying home and not selling out on the run.PSU could have closed that game out with one more first down. I know Franklin's sphincter got tight late in these games. Was this Smith or was it Kotelnicki?
