Given franklins history he would probably offer to let Sparty just have the ball if he could.I love Franklin holding up the "1" sign after a td there, what other decision would you make?
Losing by one or a hundred, a loss is a lossHey guys, we only lost to Iowa by 3, Illinois by 2, OSU by 9, Michigan by 4, and MSU by 3. We are so close to being elite. Fanboys having been saying crap like that for 8 years.
you would thinkJesus Clifford. Throw the ball away.
Yes, too little too late. Now #92 is in
The most disappointing since the dark years.MSU takes 2 knees, and that's the ballgame.
Final, 30-27, MSU.
Disappointing game to end a disappointing season.

Yurcich and Franklin limited the passing game. End of story. Not an excuse but the snow totally changed this game. Limited the passing game.
Hard to attribute 2020 as it was an anomaly AND the team improved.11-10 the last two years. Mediocrity by definition.
NO our playcalling limited the passing game. Not an excuse but the snow totally changed this game. Limited the passing game.
But aside from two longer Lee runs and some shorter ones, the yards were coming from the passing game. Why they abandoned it in the late going is beyond me. I hope Yurcich shows more next year and Trautlein actually produces an offensive line that can push people around. Because this year’s edition was pretty putrid. If Franklin weren’t a good recruiter and a creator of a family atmosphere and get your degree, I’d bid him farewell in a heartbeat. I’m sorry but this game was a compilation of all the griping that everyone has been doing all year.that is somewhat puzzling. MSU seemed to change their coverage, which may have accounted for some of the calls. Plus PSU did have success running, as Lee has several long carries in the 2nd half. It's just that in a few critical plays, (the 4th down where the DT blew up Miranda, and the 3rd & 1 where Lee fumbled), opting for runs over passes does seem questionable, especially after the fact where we know the results of the run attempts.
Franklin really does need to develop depth at QB, with the portal attrition is a likely constant.I assumed JF would give CV a series or 2.
Without naming names some guys need to move on.

If the second half debacle at Iowa didn't reinforce that, then the staff is hopeless.Franklin really does need to develop depth at QB, with the portal attrition is a likely constant.
I actually never see him direct players and coachs, only after TDs does he run around like an idiot holding "one" in the air.Dear God was that funny........
James Franklin.............. Suuuuuper Genius.......
Clifford passed 23-34 for 313 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT.
The two next to last series where we ran 5 straight times is a mystery.
Yes, 2-5 since 5-0. This is what 75 million dollars gets you.The most disappointing since the dark years.
5-0 and ranked 4th. What a collapse.
Go Braves!!!!What a disappointing finish to a promising season with the win at Wisconsin. Now only three months until pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training.
We excel at losing close games.Hey guys, we only lost to Iowa by 3, Illinois by 2, OSU by 9, Michigan by 4, and MSU by 3. We are so close to being elite. Fanboys having been saying crap like that for 8 years.

MSU could not cover a lick in the secondary …..sooooo…..we run numerous plays. Makes sense to me….NOT.MSU takes 2 knees, and that's the ballgame.
