AK relies on too many behind the LoS, and then downfield routes that take too long and aren’t well drawn up, regardless.
You soften up the defense across the middle of the field with the passing game and you free up your running game, and you occasionally break one.
If they do throw shorter beyond the LoS, it’s usually to a stationary target or to the outside. Let them catch it in motion and see what happens.
