I'm thinking you might be right.

This reminds me of the Titanic all over again. I'm locked below decks with the poors while Mitch McConnell and all his rich buddies have vaccination slush parties.
Interesting that you mentioned McConnell, who is at least of an age that would make him high-risk. Interesting that you did NOT mention AOC or Dandy Andy, neither of whom is anywhere close to an age of high risk. Was this a mere oversight, or yet another example of spewing your leftist filth?

It's not an excuse when it's the truth. Perhaps he could have done a bit more, I didn't exactly follow the situation closely, but if the whole foundation of the system is flawed (which it is), it isn't going to get fixed overnight.

he hired his donor buddy to run the system thinking it was a cozy job. It’s whar
The Beshear’ do. Backfired horribly.

Dandy figuring out what to say on TV next & gives an ish if folks get the vaccine.
Dandy Andy, as well as his wife, have already had it and grandstanded about it as well. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of elderly people in Kentucky have not had it. What is going on here? Perhaps UKVisitor or one of the other virus fans that infest this forum can provide a logical explanation for this.

We have been lied to again. Again, we are not prepared as we were told we were.
People are dying by the seconds.

We were told that 20 mil would be vaccinated by the end of the year.
Less than 3 mil actually given the vac.
Too many given vac that were not head of the line people.

I would much rather sing the praise of WARP speed than this post if it was possible.
Riddle me this, troll. What do you think about Dandy Andy being vaccinated before most 90 year olds in Kentucky? Think that's ok?

That's because the Republicans intentionally designed the unemployment system to discourage people from filing. They'd rather people starve and go homeless than draw unemployment.
Surely you don't believe BS like this. Your statement is dangerously stupid. All Republicans aren't evil and neither are all Democrats. Statements like yours are a symptom of how partisan politics have become and are slowly destroying America. No political party has a monopoly on truth and good ideas. If both sides would actually talk to each other, we'd all be better off. Believing BS like you stated is ridiculous.

1) You've been trolling covid threads for months and calling anyone who slightly disagrees with you a "coronabro". You're like a Great Value Clay Travis. Amazing that you're calling someone else a troll and seem to be so concerned now about who gets the vaccine.
2) Anyone who says "Dandy Andy" shouldn't be taken seriously. It's clearly not funny but some of you are sticking with it like it's the best thing imaginable.

Well Great Value Clay Travis, you're making it sound as if a nurse went up to a 90 year old, showed them the vaccine and said "no cure for you! Dandy Andy needs your dose!!"

If Warp Speed and the vaccine distribution are working effectively, every leader and every elderly person should be able to receive the vaccine at the same time. My guess though, is that if Andy said "no thanks" to the vaccine, you, being Great Value Clay Travis would scream "see! It's all bs! Dandy Andy doesn't even believe in the vaccine!"

Very proud of our Governor. Andy Beshear is a tremendous ambassador for our state and maintains a strong overwhelming approval rating within the state where he will clearly sweep his way into an easy reelection.

Here's a picture of our Governor setting an appropriate example for our people instead of the reckless way the Republicans have disregarded CDC guidelines with their risky behavior:

It's okay if you want to print that picture and hang it on your wall at home or place it in other high visibility areas to set a good example for your family, coworkers, and people you care about. Perhaps your neighbors would also like to look at the picture for inspiration so I encourage you to share it as a sign of hope for the New Year. With the Biden vaccine rolling out, I think we all will have a much better year ahead.

Sorry if you can’t accept the truth that sounds like a personal problem you should consider consulting with a therapist about.

You should consider consulting with a GED tutor. I try to not to be the grammar police on a message board, but your post just made general illiteracy look like Shakespeare by comparison.

Your wild speculation as to what I would do, in your hypothetical, would hold more weight if I was an anti-vaxxer who posted that the vaccine was "all bs". There are some "leaders", like Chris Sununu, Tulsi Gabbard, and many others who have declined early vaccination until the most vulnerable among us have had an opportunity for the vaccine. Apparently Dandy Andy and his wife (along with the loathsome AOC) decided to make a different decision, and I respectfully submit that such decisions are fair game for criticism, whether Coronabros like it or not.

I further note that you rise to the defense of Dandy Andy, but not Mitch McConnell, who took the vaccine at the age of 78.

Just out of curiosity, what was your handle prior to joining (or, to be more precise, REJOINING) this board as "Nightwish" in December? You are clearly a retread, but which one? Z, by any chance? Or yet another LeadBelly reincarnation?

Three separate vaccines have been produced in about 9 months since the outbreak in the U.S.. That is quite remarkable by any historical standard.

Let’s just hope the vaccine is safe. It uses a new technology and has been produced faster as you stated and with less testing than any other vaccine in our history.

Been reading these boards since Tubby was coach. Decided to jump in a bit a few weeks ago. Just out of curiosity, why does it matter to you, Great Value Clay Travis? You sound a little paranoid throwing out random handles and words like "retread" and "reincarnation". No one is out to get you dude. I just called out your continued nonsense. The good thing about 2021, is that things should be going back to normal hopefully soon. By then, you'll be able to act immature and angry about something else.

He is not Z and Z was not LeadBelly. Z was Crow from the old CNNSI message boards, Dynasty Defenders, and The Goat Pen. Perhaps the greatest Kentucky poster of all time and a legend among rival fans. Some say he is 10 feet tall. Others, that he the first born son of Zeus himself. They say he fathered a thousand children and can never die. Who knows, but he shouldn't be mistaken for common message board rabble.

You can think coronavirus is serious and also think our governor sucks at running the government. Both are true.
Imagine if Andy focused as much time on running the government as he does preparing for his briefings.

anybody who thinks the coronavirus is a hoax or isn’t real is just as dumb as somebody who thinks Andy is a good executive and doing a good job of running the government

This is a lie. The technology has been around for a decade and has been tested just as any other vaccine would be. Technology allows us to develop them quicker and more safely.

Please list successful coronavirus vaccines developed (let’s say last 20 yrs) that have used the mRNA technology.

And no, this vaccine has not been tested just like any other. Vaccine approval time frames don’t take years due to the development side usually but the observation and testing aspect. This is why you still have to wear a mask and social distance post vaccinated...the only thing guaranteed right now from the testing is that its effective from keeping the recipient from getting (Feeling) sick. Transmission to others, long term effects, etc will be learned through the ones currently getting vaxed.

wrong. Testing isn’t why others take so long. Figuring out the right form of the virus and duplicating It and manufacturing are why traditional vaccines take so much longer.
Mrna has been used for rabies and Zika among others.

Rabies and Zika? Lol Zero reason to be argumentative for argumentative sake here. Again, much is unknown about the rushed vaccine at this point except what has been observed in the short term from the initial clinical trials. Is that enough to know how this will play out down the road. In my opinion, no way. Theres a reason it’s not been approved by the FDA, only authorized for emergency usage and the pharmas can’t be held responsible. No one wants the liability at this point.

Keep laughing. you are wrong. There is zero evidence to show that anything negative other than normal allergic reactions come from this.

thank god people like you weren’t around when the measles and polio vaccines came out.

Im a frontline healthcare worker that works with positive covid patients daily so yeah, thank God I wasn’t around then. Tbh, I wish I wasn’t around dealing with the bs now...not the virus, But the bs.

It’s irresponsible of ANYONE to make a claim of what this vaccine will and will not do at this point with the exception of not making the recipient feel sick unless you have a crystal ball which you do not. Again, like I alluded to in my first post, let’s all be hopeful for the best.

An mRNA vaccine has never been put to market until this one.

Yes, they have researched the tech beforehand and I suppose tried it on other disease, but still never hit the market.

The tech has been and is used in cancer treatment to my knowledge.

I don’t think either of you all were wrong.

and KY now shows as ranked 42nd in doses administered per capita.

worked fine when he was governor.

Other states have similar systems, they just had competent problem solvers in charge instead of political cronies. They adapted and adjusted.
Yeah because times were the same for Bevin.

Again, similar system to other states. You keep making excuses for somebody who doesn’t know how to lead. You are enabling this. Not political. Its about management and we have a governor who can’t execute.

You're a nut job. Hyper partisan, hysterically far left on just about every issue, unwilling to even consider anyone's viewpoint that slightly differs with your own because, of course, your opinion is right and all others that don't agree are wrong. You must be a lot of fun to hang out with.
