We have been lied to again. Again, we are not prepared as we were told we were.
People are dying by the seconds.

We were told that 20 mil would be vaccinated by the end of the year.
Less than 3 mil actually given the vac.
Too many given vac that were not head of the line people.

I would much rather sing the praise of WARP speed than this post if it was possible.
Governor Beshear, please resign, you and your daddy are both terrible at your job.

He is not Z and Z was not LeadBelly. Z was Crow from the old CNNSI message boards, Dynasty Defenders, and The Goat Pen. Perhaps the greatest Kentucky poster of all time and a legend among rival fans. Some say he is 10 feet tall. Others, that he the first born son of Zeus himself. They say he fathered a thousand children and can never die. Who knows, but he shouldn't be mistaken for common message board rabble.
Thanks for the clarification.

You are still dismissed.

I have taken it with no side effects. It has always been my fear that the safety of the vaccine was being politicized .
My wife got her vaccine Wednesday.....she said it made her feel sluggish and her arm was sore as hell......little headache........in my mind her and her workmates should've gotten it first.......they have been dealing with the Wuflu since March....they are still on the "one paper mask a day protocol".........F'ck Kindred Hospital.....I am badgering her to go ahead and retire....she is hard headed.......

What makes you say it was being politicized..........because Harris/Biden was out in front of crowds saying that they wouldn't take it because they didn't trust Trump? I hope there are a bunch of anti-vaxers out there.....moves me up in line......

You should consider consulting with a GED tutor. I try to not to be the grammar police on a message board, but your post just made general illiteracy look like Shakespeare by comparison.
Oh look it’s the grammar police on an internet message board. Got any more elementary-level comebacks? Go play with your Legos and leave this board for the big boys and girls.

Let’s just hope the vaccine is safe. It uses a new technology and has been produced faster as you stated and with less testing than any other vaccine in our history.
To be fair, the technology behind it has been around for a while now, the person behind it fought for years for acceptance of her work to no avail until this vaccine came about. It’s not just something they devised overnight specifically for this vaccine.

worked fine when he was governor.

Other states have similar systems, they just had competent problem solvers in charge instead of political cronies. They adapted and adjusted.
And he didn’t have Great Depression type layoffs from a pandemic to deal with. It’s not a remotely similar situation.

The system wasn’t designed to handle that level of unemployment, and it never will until it gets scrapped and replaced with something new. It’s archaic technology.

It’s like trying to run a PlayStation 5 video game on a PlayStation 1. It isn’t happening, even if it could have the ability to run it, it would get overwhelmed and be unplayable

Again, similar system to other states. You keep making excuses for somebody who doesn’t know how to lead. You are enabling this. Not political. Its about management and we have a governor who can’t execute.
You know not every state runs the same computer systems for unemployment, right?

Some have invested in it over the years to modernize it and get rid of archaic technology and programming language that hasn’t been used in over a decade. Others states haven’t set a long term plan to improve it and have decided that archaic technology is “good enough.”

The states that haven’t invested in it are the ones that are sucking with their unemployment assistance during the pandemic - KY, VA, FL are three off the top of my head.

Surgical masks aren’t made out of paper. It’s a non-woven fabric made from plastic.

Biden took his vaccine on camera and announced he would in advance.

you are wrong. Many states had issues very early but had good leadership and adjusted. Our governor didn’t. People are suffering because of it

You sir need to know when to chime in.......she is wearing the same mask that I wear......only I buy mine by the box......who said anything about a surgical mask besides you? Thank you for you input of mask knowledge that has nothing to do with what I said......I could send you a sample.....she takes it off and puts them in a bag in her car........I can't guarantee what kind of cooties are on it though.......

There’s only so many adjustments that can be made when you’re operating with decades old systems.

It’s like asking Calipari to adjust mid year to a three point heavy, NBA style offense when the roster is built for an early 2000s style of play. It ain’t happening.

The surgical masks and N95s are the standard mask used in medical facilities. Neither is made of paper. And surgical masks are the best masks on the market outside of N95s.

Oh, well that's good to hear. You might want to tell a couple hundred Republicans that news. Not sure they know Biden won nearly two months ago.

The fact that you're worried 'some' Republicans are refusing to accept an election result, says as much about you as it does those Republicans.

Two party dumbasses are ruining this country.

Which is the point I was trying to get across to the OP. Be happy that your criminal won, instead of the criminal you DIDN'T vote for. Why continue to bash the criminal that lost? You're only fomenting the crap you rail against.

Pretty sure there is a word for that.

One of my buddies who is a doctor got the vaccine and then a week later got diagnosed with Covid. Kinda concerning.
Not concerning at all. The vaccine is 95% effective, so he might have been one of the 5% for whom it is not effective. More likely, the reality is that the vaccine does not protect for a minimum of two weeks; moreover, the coronavirus can be dormant for up to two weeks, though usually it's three or four days, so it's very possible that he was already infected before he even took it.

Not if you spend a few seconds to learn about how the vaccine works. It takes about 28 days for your body to build up the immune response after the vaccine. You don't get the shots then presto you're immune, which any real doctor would know so I don't think your Haitian friend with the bone in his nose is a real doctor.

That’s perfect actually.

Andy Beshear is John Calipari refusing to play Dontaie Allen (just open up the economy instead of arbitrarily keeping it shut down) because he’d rather sacrifice the program/state than do what’s obvious to everyone because it doesn’t fit with his outdated ideology.

It has been developed faster than any previous vaccine.....true that......but the less testing isn't true.......the paper work didn't lay on some bueracrats desk for weeks on end until they decided to get around to it.......the same amount of testing......just less bureaucrats.......

Very proud of our Governor. Andy Beshear is a tremendous ambassador for our state and maintains a strong overwhelming approval rating within the state where he will clearly sweep his way into an easy reelection.

Here's a picture of our Governor setting an appropriate example for our people instead of the reckless way the Republicans have disregarded CDC guidelines with their risky behavior:

It's okay if you want to print that picture and hang it on your wall at home or place it in other high visibility areas to set a good example for your family, coworkers, and people you care about. Perhaps your neighbors would also like to look at the picture for inspiration so I encourage you to share it as a sign of hope for the New Year. With the Biden vaccine rolling out, I think we all will have a much better year ahead.
I think I saw a rat in the barn.......maybe I can make copies and pin them above the rat holes................they are smart enough to see this guy is a POS NON leader......

Your wild speculation as to what I would do, in your hypothetical, would hold more weight if I was an anti-vaxxer who posted that the vaccine was "all bs". There are some "leaders", like Chris Sununu, Tulsi Gabbard, and many others who have declined early vaccination until the most vulnerable among us have had an opportunity for the vaccine. Apparently Dandy Andy and his wife (along with the loathsome AOC) decided to make a different decision, and I respectfully submit that such decisions are fair game for criticism, whether Coronabros like it or not.

I further note that you rise to the defense of Dandy Andy, but not Mitch McConnell, who took the vaccine at the age of 78.
Typical Socialism.......the have's get it first.....the ones that contribute nothing get it second and the people who are working and paying taxes are shifted to the back of the line............keep voting for these AZZHOLES.........

1) You've been trolling covid threads for months and calling anyone who slightly disagrees with you a "coronabro". You're like a Great Value Clay Travis. Amazing that you're calling someone else a troll and seem to be so concerned now about who gets the vaccine.
2) Anyone who says "Dandy Andy" shouldn't be taken seriously. It's clearly not funny but some of you are sticking with it like it's the best thing imaginable.
Would you be OK with "Candy Andy".......

The money wasn't there for improvement to the unemployment sysytem.......Daddy Beshear was stuffing it into his pockets.....paying off his cronies with crooked contracts and positions in his government.......

Had he gotten it a week earlier, probably would be OK. I mean, how many others of the 4M+ with shots have gotten covid?

Not concerning at all considering that it is a two dose vaccine.......the first dose gives a very limited immunity after 10-14 days....then you get the second shot (booster) in 28-32 days........10-14 days after that you should be good to go........unless you are one of the 5% that the vaccine doesn't work for.......They are not certain how long the vaccine last.............it might be like the flu shot.......it may be a yearly thing until it has been around for a while.......the science/medical people will figure the Wuh flu out.......it has only been around for 12-15 months...............
