Rangers have outplayed the Devils immensely and are only up by 1 game… As the saying goes, don’t let teams hang around because they can come back to beat you

I've been to hockey games in a third of the NHL's arenas. Nobody disrupts the national anthem as much as Rangers fans.
how do they disrupt it? Does the singer ever pause because of them?

It's what makes the energy in that building unmatched. It's apart of the experience. Only a total loser would complain about that

I never said that, it works both ways.

The Devils are the last Pro team I am still a diehard fan of. So as diehards do, I see with my heart sometimes!

If the Rangers start running the Devils goalie, they will win, without penalty. I would send Kreider and Goodrow in there hard, starting next game.

And I think intentional contact with a goalie should be called every time; regardless of what team.

I dont want to see any of my players run a goalie. Get in front of him and "take away his eyes", sure

If you saw no intent from how Meier landed on Igor, there is no point. It was intentional plain and simple.

Maybe he'll put his head down and catch the Trou-trou train.
This is a stupid argument. Every player who is pushed into the goal tries to take out the goalie. It's a free pass, you'd be stupid not to.

Every player that goes to the net is required to attempt to AVOID the goalie. When you don't, goalie interference is almost always called.

Case in point, last year against Pittsburgh, the Rangers had a goal wiped off from Kakko. The problem on the play was that Dumoulin (Pitt defender) clearly shoved him into the goalie and it was waved off because Kakko, apparently, didn't do enough to avoid the keeper.

The fact that you're okay with intent to injure doesn't need a response, so I'll leave it be.

" because Kakko, apparently, didn't do enough to avoid the keeper." i.e. he tried to direct his momentum directly into the chest protector exactly like he's supposed to.... What's the worst that can happen? The goal that wouldn't have happened anyway is waved off.

The goal went in, and the Rangers needed to win 5 games to advance. He tried to stop, but it was impossible as the bigger defenseman was pushing him forward at hip level.

You and I just have a different idea on what constitutes "going hard to the net." It's all good.

Changing the tenor here. The Devils had a good game, Rangers' giveaways were much higher in Game 3; Devils pressed puck much better.
Schmid played well, and showed a lot of poise; too much if I'm being honest (good for the Devils, bad for my team). I feel Panarin was trying to be too cute; no matter what, the high percentage chances need to be on frame.

On to Game 4.

Where I explained that is how the anthem is at msg and everyone told me it wasnt haha
You supported your argument by posting video, OF YOURSELF, doing the same thing at a Rangers game.
Know what happens at Islanders games during the anthem? The fans sing the anthem.

If you think yelling "let's go Rangers!" and "Devils suck!" between lines of the national anthem enhances the experience, then we have different ideas of the national anthem.

No I totally understand that is the norm, which is why I said nobody disrupts the anthem like Rangers fans. Glad we finally agree, have a good night.

Let’s get back to hockey
The last time the press was fellating the Rangers in this fashion was when we went up 2-0 on Tampa Bay last spring.
Big game tonight
Game 4 is an indicator of how good you are, not who will win the series….It’s a strong indicator of being good enough to impose your will and win because you want to, not because you have to.

On Schmid who I’m sure will goal tonight for the Devils - he can be terrific as he played Saturday night or he’s the type of goalie that can let 3-4 goals in the first period on 9 shots.
Hopefully Devils get the good Schmid again tonjght!

Devils need to just calm down a bit and work together. Last game Bratt and Hughes were overskating and trying to do too much. The Rangers just form a box around them, and it falls apart. Sure OK It paid off in the end because the rangers were so used to overplaying Bratt it never occured to them he might actually pass to someone else regardless of how rediculously wide open. And, sure, a thing of beauty it was watching them with their pants around their ankles. I don't think Hamilton could even believe how wide open he was. But yet for most of the game they were making the exactly right decision keying in on Bratt and Hughes and ignoring everyone else...hence only 1 goal in regulation yet again.

I'll be in the building tonight, screaming my head off during the national anthem with 20K+ others. Can't wait.

he didn't have to do much on Saturday. Rangers didn't produce many high danger chances. See if they can tonight

Hughes definitely tries to do too much many times.
He's a superstar, he's earned the right. He's the only player on the devils that scares me or really anyone for that matter. If he's not pushing the pace the devs have no chance

This season, the Devils have gotten the good Schmid much more than the bad one. Last year, his first as a pro and having played in the ECHL the year before, he looked overwhelmed.

Devils finally playing their game. Rangers playing same game since game 1.
That’s not true at all. The Rangers are playing nowhere near as responsibly on offense as they were earlier in the series. Their giveaways and easily broken up cross ice passes are playing right into the Devils strength of fast breakouts.

None of the Rangers are playing well, but Trocheck is especially notable in how badly he sucks tonight.

You can’t have your top center unable to win a face off or advance the puck

I can't believe how lackadaisical they look in the playoffs. If you can't get going for this time of year, why play?
