Fair points. I would give your team more credit though. For me, this is my nightmare scenario come to life. The only time all year the Devils played consistently well, was that 13 game losing streak.

Of all the reasons we're down 0-2, the team's physicality is at the bottom of the list and it's not the cause on why the Rangers have had an easy time. In fact Krup is pretty much on the money being physical has cost them since it's not their style.
We're only been outhit 71-69 and have not back down from any of the after the whistle antics.
I think that last night was maybe the best game the Rangers played all year. Even though the Devils scored in the first period, the Rangers looked great.
The Devils, though, made made a big mistake by focusing on something they aren’t built for instead of taking their best shot using the skills they do have.
I picked the Devils to win the series, but they should be concerned that the Rangers have two 5-1 wins with Zibanejad being relatively quiet, and the fact that Shesterkin is making everything look pretty routine right now.

I have to laugh, I will never go against my first instinct. While I wouldn't describe it the way one NYR fan has, even with the moves the NJD are too soft to win in the playoffs.
I couldn't even watch the late games after. Now the great 90's/00's Red Wings had some huge playoff loses, so maybe this is growing pains, (not a direct comparison!), that is the only thing us Devils fan's have left.

Series is not over. Devils can just as easily take two in NY. Rangers were up on TB 2-0 last year and that certainly didn't go their way.

I'm not liking Ruff's changes in practice. Bahl dropped to 4th pair with Luke Hughes. Severson and Wood still in the lineup.
