Interesting development in Newark:

ND pulled out the win over a good Hopewell Valley to stay undefeated. Weak competition in Mercer County, but Surace is such a gamer.
Immaculatta actually made a 20 FG to take the lead but Weequahic was offside. Immaculatta took the penalty to get another shot for a TD and was stopped short.

Consolation games should be regional , schools that are nearby but don’t usually play each other.
Problem with Memorial, Hopatcong is that they’re in the “Ivy League,” the developmental divisions where teams from the SFC go to if they can’t compete against a regular schedule. There’s only 14 teams in the Ivy so not many teams to choose from.

This is a question I have about many players...this kid doesn't even have a profile on rivals as a senior. I would think that highschool coaches would make sure their talented players are on the recruiting scene..does it cost money to go to these rivals camps now days? Kids with stats like this should be invited to the rivals camp series..
Thinking about going to the Spotswood 8-1 vs Pt.Boro 7-1, or
Best Shore Conference Game of the year.
My Cousin's son plays for Newton. They won this past Friday so on to the next round of playoffs. I believe they play Westwood.
