That Giant offensive line they're putting out there is as bad as I've seen.
And it's been bad for a while.
Gotta make it tough on any qb.
To the point above, it did look like Tyrod moved around in the pocket better, and also got rid of the ball faster then Jones has, even when throwing downfield.

Some of that may be Jones being shell shocked, but not all of it.

I also thought the O-line played better vs the Bills. 3 of the 5 games Jones played it was jail break city.

Thought that Tyrod got rid of it quickly and was accurate. Giants also game-planned a bit differently by rolling the pockets at times. Also the running game was more of a threat so that likely kept an extra safety/LB at bay from being a free rusher.

Pretty good? This the same guy that Tyrod Taylor looked a lot better than a few days ago? Jones stinks - it's always an excuse with him. Always.
Tyrod Taylor is a better quarterback than Jones by far. Two first half TD passes so far, first TD's in a month.

I'm not making that conclusion yet, helps that Barks is back, it helps Hyatt is on the field, it helps that the O-line looks OK. But I def think it, shall we say, buys Jones another week of rest.

Wonder how the Giants will find a way to lose this week.
Muffed punt was a good start.

Dropped pick 6 by Thibs could be one we look back on.

But D held on that drive, and miraculously Slayton held on to the ensuing punt.

I disagree. The second half Giants looked like the Giants from the first 6 weeks. Plus the Redskins stink. Both of them sadly don’t seem good enough to lead them far.

People loving Taylor now but there is long tradition of #2 QBs coming in and shinning for a few weeks.
Pennington got a big contract that way. Fitz was another but he could peak-up again after crashing

Why is Taylor a career back up? Giants scored 23 pts in his 2 games.

Started three games in 2018 and then injury (vs Jets) ended season in Buffalo.
He also had a MD puncture his lung with an injection when with LAC (he's still suing for 5 mil)
Then he was traded to a series of teams and never reagained form - 9 TDs/8 INTs in five years

If possible, Daboll would be wise to make a determination on the QB early in the week. The last thing he or the team needs is a question of who is under center vs. NYJ leading up to game time. Unless Jones is 100%, I don't see the upside in playing him against the Jets pass rush. Taylor looked comfortable enough against BUF and WSH - though I'm not throwing roses at his feet for 26 points in 9 quarters, like many of the Jones-hating NYG fans are. The NYJ offense might be worse than the NYG, so if the defense comes to play and they play competently enough on offense, they can win this game.

For my eyes, it looked like the play calling changed with the shift to Taylor. Regardless, still not scoring points.

There should be no QB controversy. Everyone knows exactly what Taylor is — a serviceable lifelong NFL backup QB. We have scored 23 points in the last 2 weeks. That isn’t good. The reason things look/feel better is the better play on defense, not Tyrod Taylor.

This game is fvcking awesome. Jets down to long snapper for center and Giants down to third string QB. Riveting TV, it's like watching two bad college teams play.

Giants lining up "to go for it" on 4th and 9 is the height of comedy.
They can't get 9 yards over 4 plays.
Nobody is getting fooled.

I heard the stat, 15 punts in the first half and thought, "yeah and I'm actually one of the idiots watching this".

Taylor is done for game. Went to hospital for his ribs

OMG Dan "The Douche" Duggan you can't find a more slimy sports reporter. Remeber when he was fabricating scathing stories about Rutgers football and reporting on plays we run in practice for the opponent. I see he's grown up to have a punchable face.

On a serious note, any QB's in their pajama's this week to look out for, for next week?

I actually like his Giants coverage. Him and Art Stapleton are the two best IMO
Im seeing fans calling for Wentz

This game has set football back 100 years, lol. If I were the Giants, I'd just go ahead and put Saquon in at QB and run the ball the rest of the game, as having one more blocker might make a big difference; I'd also try a few safe passes to try to surprise the Jets.

Why were the Giants in such a rush to let him up? One more second of falling down on top of the WR and game over. We have stupid players made of glass.

Why would you go for that FG on 4th and 1 from the Jets 17? First off, it's a dangerous play on a wet day that can have disastrous results and secondly, why not just go for it, as the Giants have been running the ball really well? A first down ends the game. Of course, I have no idea why Barkley just went down on the first down running play either. Lots of headscratchers in this one (and I have no rooting interest).
