There are rules about name calling as well, that hasn't stopped you from doing it repeatedly in this thread.
Show your work. I called one person a name - I called toby a d-bag for his heinous comment hoping Rapinoe got hit by a car. I'd say my response was kind of mild, tbh. Outside of that, I called out CE board right wingers for polluting/derailing this thread with political content, which is accurate, as the thread was all about soccer until that point.

you repeatedly associate anyone who posts on that board with all types of hateful rhetoric. One might say you are potentially inciting violence with your hate speech. I post on that board, all of my posts have been about soccer. and quite insightful I might add. :)

A CBS article cited the Jamaican coach, Lorne Donaldson, as a prime candidate.
as far as I can tell, he coached in Colorado before most of the players could walk in 2001. He may or may not still be associated with an ECNL program which is the number one youth league in the country on the girls side. He was an assistant for Jamaica until recently when the players complained the HC had bad training programs and he was fired. Donaldson took the job against his wife's wishes....
Meanwhile
Randy Waldrum
was the second choice to take over the US Womens team when they hired Jill Ellis
He won 2 NC's at ND
Coached in the NWSL
has brought Nigeria to two sweet 16's
took over a Pitt program that was one of the worst in the ACC and had them top 10 and in sweet 16 in only a few years
But to be honest, he's probably too old now.

i don't know the coaching scene at the women's level at all, so as the other Worm mentioned, there was a CBS article that made the suggestion. that same cbs article did mention Thierry Henry, which is also laughable fwiw

Wow! Piers in from the bullpen to close out the game. And he's throwing heat.
She's just an *******. And people wonder why she's so disliked.

"Ms. Rapinoe, who had earlier sparked outrage when she laughed after missing a crucial penalty kick, collected her thoughts for a few long seconds, then replied: “Probably equal pay chance. This team has always fought for so much more and that’s been the most rewarding part for me. Of course, playing in World Cups and European Championships, and doing all that… but to know we’ve used our really special talent to do something that’s really changed the world forever, that means the most to me.”

and since I have the time and I know for that some reason, many here just take you at your word vs reality. I went ahead and did the research. You said nobody could have known she would play this poorly. you said up until recently she played well. These are both false statements. In fact, her playing time has become less and less since the olympics in 2021. Here is the actual stats(I won't include the WC as it was just on) from
Friendlies, She Believes Cup, Concacaf, and the Olympics. So going back all the way to 2021

Wales: DNP
Brazil: 19 min
Japan: 20 min
Canada: DNP
NZ: DNP
NZ: DNP
Germany: DNP
Germany: 17 Mins
Mexico: 27 mins
Haiti: 16 mins
Cost Rica: 27 mins and a yellow
Canada: DNP

Then Olympics, last time she had meaningful minutes which decreased as tourney went on...because she stunk

Australia: 645 min an a yellow
NZ: 68 mins
Sweden: 26 mins
Netherlands: 26 min
Canada: 30 mins

Bronze medal game vs Australia 60 min. Which to be honest, I thought she played that much because it was evident she sucked and was going to be left off WC roster.

So, yes, anyone who actually watched the games and was objective could tell she would suck because she has for years now.

Lastly, If you guys really just wanted to talk soccer you could have ignored the "CE Troglodytes" and they would have gone away. Instead, you felt need to defend and argue.
You didn't read my post correctly. I said she played well up through 2022, but that "the only time she hasn't played much or that well is in 2023, largely due to injury," and yet you just included a whole bunch of stats from 2023 matches, which are irrelevant to my point.

But you are correct on 2022 USWNT performance and my memory was wrong. I thought she played better in the USWNT matches and the stats show she played in 10 matches, starting in 3 and only had 1 goal and 2 assists, which is not very good for her, historically, although she did have a calf issue. She did, however, finish very strong for her club team in 2022 (OL Reign), scoring or assisting a goal in eight of the team’s final nine games to lead them to the best regular-season record.

In addition, she had a great USWNT season in 2021, playing in 19 matches, starting in 12 and scoring 10 goals with 3 assists. So, IMO, still, apart from 2023, it's hard to say she "sucked." But this is all banter, as she clearly didn't play well in the the 2023 WC, which is what matters - and maybe better coaches could've expected that.

And lastly, it's illogical to blame those of us who defended the team from politically-based insults, which aren't even supposed to be allowed on the football board. Their posts simply didn't belong on this board and should've stayed on the CE board.

Inciting violence is only directed at one side as a form of protest, Republicans. Democrats get a free pass/ get out of jail free card by MSM. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-BLM-protesters-weve-got-confrontational.htmlRemember when Maxine Muddy Waters asked people to disrupt Trump supporters anywhere you see them.

Are you still feeling sore about some dumb comments 2 1/2 years ago? Pay less attention to politicians - it will be better for your health.

why does it take so many words to admit you are wrong. The last major international event was the olympics in 2021. She stunk at the Olympics and she has stunk since. Period. There is no but.......she has stunk and anyone who was objective, who has watched this team since then, knows she stinks. Even before her injury.

Ha ha. I'm being attacked by the CE Board Middle School clique. 🤣

I have to say, I'm, pleasantly surprised. This is so out of character for you girls. Normally you stick to taking on defenseless little girls like Rapinoe and Thunberg. My, but you've all grown so very brave now. 🙂

Well then, let's go. Whatchu got?

You actually called out the RWCJ on posts that I’ve never seen the poster on the CE Board.
