interesting to think about in that any move that destroys the ACC forces ND to join Big Ten.

It makes no sense but then neither does USC and UCLA. It would be a national-ish conference with huge parts of the country under-represented and most of the teams still centered in the midwest.

FSU and Clemson are not breaking the GOR without a legal challenge, and the Big Ten wouldn't be complicit in that action. Even if there was a challenge, that info would have leaked first.

I would believe Washington and Oregon could come, but our new commish said that he was going to wait until USC and UCLA are on board before considering other expansion.

I think that all of this is just a bunch of noise.

Huge number of Rutgers and Big Ten fans in Florida who would love to travel to Tallahassee to see their teams.

Every time one of these changes happens I like college sports a little bit less. And with unregulated NIL this is really just another professional sports league masked (and not masked well) as institutions of higher education with student athletes - such a joke!

never fear,
the Big 12 would let them in for all other sports and give them the same football deal the ACC did so their football program could claim to be independant but have B-12 Bowl tie-in when they need it.

Who knows if this will happen but to think there won’t be only 2, maybe 3 conferences someday is just naive. When it comes to $$$, land grants go out the window.

Is there room for ND if they take those four ? And I don’t think losing any two teams, even those two, cripples the ACC. Even better for ND to not ever have tough opponents. To get ND they’d have to take Carolina too.

take UNC, UVa and Clemson, keeping the contiguous footprint. That’s more likely to entice ND. Bail on FSU. Can’t take everyone.

Clemson is a highly unlikely B10 candidate ever.

ESPN is not only going to let FSU go to a conference of which they have no tv rights but now Clemson as well. Essentially two of the biggest schools in a property (ACC) in which they hold all the rights. And of course this has all been hashed out to happen this week no less. Sounds totally believable. 🙄

agree on Clemson

FSU/UNC plus 1 and then target is ND (moves are going to force ND hand)

This is when I hope someone makes a "he must have heard it in line at Subway" joke, so I can remind everyone that the Subway story turned out to be true.
