I have started "Shrinking" on Apple TV and its pretty good
Finished the 2nd season recently and I thought it was better than the first (can't always say that about shows). It's become one of my favorite shows actually. It's got a great balance of levity (dialog is hysterical for me at times) and seriousness. I like comedies because I want to laugh but can't find too many good ones these days.

Finished season 2 of Squid Games. It was good, ended on a cliff hanger. The final season comes out in 2025

Watching Lioness now…2nd season.
Good show and Zoe Saldana may be about as perfect a human can be since a young Halle Berry.
BTW- why in the F did Nicole Kidman mess with her own beautiful face. She is almost impossible to look at now. Looks like a female Joker..,

The only thing I don't like is everyone is calm, the operators, political higher ups, lioness's and speak in a normal voice and she just yells at the top of her lungs almost every scene. Other than that, we really enjoyed it.

Oh really, that would turn me off if it’s over the top. That’s one of things we hate about The Bear.

Apple TV has had some god ones too. Finally got to watch Masters of the Air, still ranking them 1)BOB 2) Pacific 3) MOA

For All Mankind was pretty good but went off the rails a bit as they all got older.

I have enjoyed Silo as well
What is BOB?

What the F happened to this show

Great acting from BBT and his counterpart Patty who gets funnier as show goes on.

It turned into a day dreaming hallucination **** show
Season two we put up with, but it started the downfall. By season three we were out. They should have kept the first seasons writing team.

Season 4 got much better
Still had about a 20-30 second dream clip each episode but not as awful as season 3

I am trying my best to watch Severance...the office scenes just drag through my soul though. The real world outside the office should be a bigger part of it. But admit- I am only struggling through episode 3...

Also liked:

Black Doves
Man on the Inside
Penguin
Alex Cross
Shogun
Nobody Wants This
The Diplomat
Watched Shogun and Diplomat and liked them both.

Just started Alex Cross and 2 episodes in and so far so good. Have some guesses but wondering how they’re going tie some things together on the “villain’s” side of things.

Also 4 episodes into 1923 and like that one too. Wouldn’t picture Harrison Ford as the patriarchal cowboy but he fits the role well.

He’s batting a thousand for me now between Shrinking and 1923, both atypical roles for him imo.

Ted Lasso is so good that it’s probably the easiest show to watch over and over, if that makes sense.

Rewatching The Sopranos and Dexter.

@RUinPinehurst Rogue Heros was really good. Loved the sound track of AC/DC in it. For anyone interested it's on Amazon Prime for the next 8 days. It's a limited series(6 episodes) based on the origins of the SAS in North Africa during WW II. It's a mostly true story with some Hollywood embellishments.

I watched the first season and the new one is releasing episodes now, but apparently you can only watch it on something called MGM+. I refuse to sign up for a new streaming service, though!

I enjoyed the first season of the Bear but season 2- tried to hard to try to put each character into place to win awards again rather then tell a story. I couldn’t watch it
I ran into the actors playing Carmine and his girlfriend at the final game of the World Series. We shared an elevator ride down after the game ended. That dude is small; like under 5'6". He's apparently dating the actress in real life.

Yeah, going to have to wait. The first season also came out on MGM+, I'm not buying that either. In a few months it'll hit Prime/Paramount.

I'll second Black Doves above. Comical level of violence but interesting convoluted story.. it is like a graphic novel kinda thing.

Also on Netflix there are a couple seasons of Gangs of London... SOOO VIOLENT.. but again, interesting story.

And I just finished season 2 of The Diplomat... wow.. just.. wow.

I did watch the firs episode of the limited series called American Primeval.. it is about the conflicts in 1850s (IIRC) Utah between the US Military, Mormons, Outlaw gangs, Indians... stark.. violent. Not sure about how it can sustain a story.. and I think the look of it is a little too bleak... kinda reminds of the spaghetti westerns look... too much so.

Enjoyed American Primeval. The violence relents a bit and the story emerges. Pretty good. Don’t know if there will be a season 2.

Just found ”The League” again on Hulu. Loved that show from years ago.

I also enjoyed American Primeval. Would have liked a slightly different ending, but overall a good show, cool scenery. Not sure if/how they do a season 2.
