She never looked good young either. With this hairy pits she reminded me of a war prostitute. She fit the image too being driven around town in a limo looking for guys on the street

Check out Swift at 16

Taylor Swift at 16 is a long way away from Tay at 32 or whatever age she is.

I don’t care for most of her songs but she is very talented and very good looking. She has great business sense, knows her audience, and is genuinely nice to her fans. More power to her.

She checks all the boxes.
The only thing I didn't like was blaming TIcketmaster for the dynamic pricing rip-offs.
All the artists complain about it but only The Cure told TM to knock it off

You repeatedly attempt to compose a sentence that is insulting someone. However, you are only capable of phrases that use one or two syllable words. I have to give you some credit! You are good at copying and pasting pictures. Please seek mental health assistance before you become another sad statistic! Deep down, I have a great deal of compassion for you and your ilk.

Thank-you - I have a book and CD coming in spring so watch this space!
I stopped CE posting a few years ago - its just a volley of insults - more heat than light. Its entertaining for awhile but then gets old.
Got old is exactly right.

Exchanging insults can be lots of fun. But the insults in the CE forum were 99% repetitive, weak, and lame. Totally boring.

I was spending way too much time on that nonsense a few years back. Putting it away freed up lots of time for other, more creative forms of entertainment. Often involving sheep, naturally.

I liked the country Swift with the curls and natural look.
The older Swift often has the urban model look with clipped hair and the bright red lipstick (ubiquitous these days).

But when Swift dresses-up she's like a work of art. I felt bad for Selena Gomez getting stuck next to Swift in her Versace. Not many entertainers/artists can pull something like this off while making a billion and winning awards like breathing

Neither is TS which proves my point.
It might state your opinion, but it certainly doesn’t prove anything. As far as opinions go, I’d be surprised if the large majority of guys didn’t agree that TS >>>>Madonna looks-wise when compared at similar ages.

100% I found myself getting caught up with some of the "walls" on CE until it hit me that there were no real discussions. I let my premium membership lapse 100% of the CE board, knowing that somehow- it would trap me in there again

Her and Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface are the only ones that can pull off that haircut and not look like a soccer lesbian.

She's definitely a looker, just don't care for her music.

Madonna was never about being attractive- she just sold sex. She was also a trail blazer as that she was going to not give a damn what anyone thought. But her pure look was not above average attractive.

They have no taste.
Taste is individual, so I wouldn't say that. Because, I think they are just sharing "their taste" - they do not find tall, blond, thin women or men attractive. And there is nothing wrong with that.

What they don't have, is the ability to understand that their personal taste does not change how the rest of the world perceives things.

I think she cares a lot what people think now.
Acting like a ho just came natural to Madonna and she set a template for that kind of "art".
Christina Aguilera made a hard turn into skandom with her "Dirty" vid/song..
Lady Gaga was almost a carbon copy of Madonna with her sperm costumes and village people dancers.
Then Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) bacame a kooky sleeze - that was the template for a career arc.
Being an innocent kid and then going adult thot.
Then Swift comes around staying the ingenue over her career and blowing the others way.
Now Cyrus is cleaning-up her look and doing interviews saying she was young and "made immature mistakes."

Parents were shelling-out big money to take Lil Buffy to Eras gigs because they see Swift as a role model compared to the others. Swift wants to be attractive but not "sexy" in a thot sort of way. That leaves some guys flat but for young girls its an upgrade over the standard and usual.

Madonna had great sex appeal and TS All American girl vibe - Madonna more my type in looks. Madonna definitely had that 'Diva - I'm going to say and do what I want for shock value' personality while Taylor seems more down to earth with a good sense of humor - so TS more my type in personality.

Great take - yes the others seem like 'acts' to get fans and shock, while Taylor is just more herself and has definitely won over the parents too!

Perfectly said. As it pertains to your personal preferences but the ability to see what others see as well

I’m sure you have been landing hotter women your whole life. Everyone is a combination of Mike Tyson and Brad Pitt behind a keyboard.
Wow you swifties are quick to take offense just because some does not agree that she is the second coming of Venus or Aphrodite. Sorry you are so easily offended.

I don't listen to Swift much - her songs do swing more towards young women and girls - but I can see she's a very clever writer and performer.

If a 12 year old girl told the devil she would sell her soul to become beautiful, talented, famous, rich and idolized around the world - someone like Swift is pretty much what she would get.
That doesn't mean everyone has to be a fan of course.
But she even gets 1000s of fans outside stadiums singing her songs (Taylor-gating).
I cant remember the national anthem lol
Next-up she makes another half billion on the movie

Only if it's released in China
I don't know what Chinese taste in music is like but the film will go global
She does great in UK/Europe
She's doing South America in a few weeks.
They loved in Mexico more than NJ
Plus there will be a lot of repeat viewers
I can see girls going to this thing multiple times
If the film sticks with songs long enough to sing with them then that will be more juice even if annoying.
People spending $500-$700 for a gig can drop $50 on multiple shows easy.
Then you get the DVDs in time for Christmas.
Just watch the money drop-in on Tay lol

Why would I have worries? I am not the one taking offense to what a stranger in an on line forum thinks about the attractiveness of media personality. Apparently though having an opinion contrary to yours has touched a nerve. Lighten up, life is too short.

I’m not offended. I’m just amused. I’m certainly projecting something onto you that may not be true as you are a stranger as you mentioned.

I just know there is the type of guy that needs to be contrarian. Like he always hates the hit song on an album or when you ask him his favorite movie he has to pick something that he assumes no one else would. To say “Shawshank” or something similar would be so uncool.

Same guy needs to order the hoppiest IPA at a bar.

I’m on a rant and there is no reason to suspect that is you. We’re good. My apologies.

It may not be him but wow- you just nailed 25% of the board hahahaha and another 25% that you hit most points only they don't leave Mom's basement so never order any sort of IPA hahahahaha

We are certainly good and I have always respected you as a poster. The funny thing is I also dislike the type of person you described. One of my all time favorite movie lines is from Shawshank "get busy living or get busy dying".

So many great lines in that movie including the one you shared. It’s a classic.

Let’s hug it out.
