I watched 2 minutes of highlights and what I never saw was SC throwing 2 at her and forcing out of her hands. Maybe they tried that but not clear from the highlights!

The match-up reminded me of a 4th grade rec basketball team. One team had a bunch of big kids who rebound virtually every shot, but couldn’t shoot Other team had a short kid who could shoot lights out.

Totally weird matchup considering especially it was a National semi final. Caitlin though was spectacular and also played even better when the pressure was on.

Your right I just got this Instagram of this 14 year old 6'10" kid playing a game against what looked like 5th graders thats how it was with the 6'7" girl on South Carolina only thing is every time they tried to box her out they called a foul. I didn't look at the final box score but USC probably had 25 offensive rebounds and Caitlin wasn't even guarding her girl although she did make a couple of 3's late in the game

Just checked it was 26 offensive rebounds and 49 to 25 overall yet Iowa still won!!!

SC is brutal. Staley never changed up D while opponent dropped 40 on them

Clark is the best women’s college basketball player I’ve ever seen and I’m a UConn women’s basketball fan

Nope bad coaching no doubles or traps except on ball screens. Bad weak side help

What makes Clark so exciting to watch is her dribbling, passing , deep range shooting and above all else the ability to create and make shots off the dribble. She likes the big stage and her presence allows team mates to make open shots.By far the most valuable player in college basketball this season.

Her 3 point shooting is well documented but I had no idea how fast she is. The quickest first step in WCB. Impressive and fun to watch her play!

She was so impressive I actually put up with ESPN and watched the whole game - So happy that the B1G dropped that garbage woke network. Horrible

Seriously. I never watch women’s basketball, but this one was entertaining. She was a savage. Trying step back threes and draining some of them in the defender’s face. Oof. She, along with Paige Bueckers on UConn, is what women’s basketball needs.
She's why you tuned in. The womens' basketball marketers need to run with posts like yours

Watching her play is a joy.
WBB has progressed enough to be worth watching as the talent level has become far better over the years and Caitlin is proof of that.
Also the physical play has become more of a factor without being overly aggressive.

Many knock Stanly's SC team for the way it plays, but I feel that teams style makes WBB watching better as long as the players don't push and shove others out of the way in a way that can cause injuries.
Towards the end of Iowa's win over SC I feel the refs blew an overly physical play that should have been a foul by a SC player trying to strip the ball from an Iowa player, but the reff only called it a jump ball and didn't do nothing about the Iowa player being tossed to the ground by the SC player attempting to take the ball away.
But all in all I thought the game was well plated by both teams and the refs did a good job.

Staley went on a rant post game. Said people in the media covering her sport are calling her players bar fighters, thugs, monkeys, and street fighters. Quite an accusation. Must be nice to be able to make accusations like that and not have to back them up with any kind of follow up or examples.

Geno said it earlier in year, I don't blame her. Especially since Geno can't beat them.

SC star and No 1 pro pick this year got the star treatment there, no doubt.

as good as she was last night (and she was REALLY good) I was most impressed with her end of game FT shooting.

She had some insane pressure on her and she didn't even touch the rim

I didn't watch the game but I just watched the highlights. Now I understand. I didn't realize one team is all white and one team is all black. This country gets so emotional when race is involved. People need to chill out. It just people playing basketball.

I don’t care for Staley personally. Something about her rubs me the wrong way
I thought the nonsense she pulled with cancelling the game at BYU was BS given the apparent fabrication etc

She’s always been a race baiter.
