Tucker is married, but he says he is unhappy in his marriage. Scummy behavior regardless. Of all the women in the world to cheat on your wife with, don't pick an employee/contractor hired to address a history of sexual abuse at your employer. There is a lot else wrong with what he did, but that right there is just idiotic. Makes you wonder if there is something in the culture at MSU like another school in the BIG East that ends in SU. Wonder if Izzo was aware of this case when he was waxing poetic last week about what a great guy Tucker is.
I tried telling anyone who would listen that Mel "Slick" Tucker is bum and can't be trusted.
Mel's agent should insist all press photos show his hands.

Unless youve been out there for a game, you may not realize this, but Michigan State is an agriculture school out in the middle of the cornfields. In a lot of ways its similar to Penn State, out in the middle of no where with questionable stuff that goes on and gets covered up.
I dunno guys... this is just so dumb... I smell something fishy. Not buying it. This is just so odd.

Tucker disputes Tracy’s claim, saying the act was consensual. She filed a complaint last December, which led to a Title IX investigation — by an outside attorney — which wrapped up in July.

It's hard to see a path for Mel Tucker to continue leading MSU's football program after sexual harassment allegations that led to a Title IX probe.

He admitted to it. Even if he thought it was consensual that was so far out of line. You can’t do that with someone you are employing or a contractor whom you are paying. Especially given her work capacity.
One of the key items here is that it appears Tucker intentionally falsely claimed that the call happened from his home rather than while on a school sponsored/paid for appearance/engagement. This might indicate that there is a contractual/legal distinction in what constitutes a breach of his contract based on where the action in question occurred. Further, the moral turpitude clause seems pretty loosely written by design and specifically allows for him to be fired/contract severed if his actions hurt the reputation of the school. He admits to the action. Just said it was consensual. She says no. No criminal ramifications for Tucker but most definitely will damage the reputation of the school and be grounds for dismissal.
Finally, hard to argue this is a set up (except maybe the leak itself) because she has a ton to lose here. Her business is based on her prior experience and helping setting boundaries. A false claim irreparably damages her future earnings. Also, there are text messages between her and a coworker about setting boundaries because he was starting to cross them.

Tucker never struck me as a potential MENSA member (no pun intended).
