Any self-respecting hip hop fan should know that tekashi is a joke of a human.

The "music" is junk but I like 6ix9ine. He's a smart guy (formerly busing tables in a restaurant) and pretty much admitted he's putting people on with his stuff. It all almost a parody of sorts. The problem is that he's still making some people dumber and more volatile.

I'll just leave this timeline of his legal troubles here.

Child molester, woman beater, drug dealer, gang member, couldn't even earn his GED when ordered by the court. Then he gets a light sentence in the RICO case because he can't take responsibility and flips on his associates. To top it off he gets out early due to COVID while others who've committed far less crimes continue to sit in jail.

Yeah, there's a lot to like about this "smat" guy...

St Paul used to be a murderer. "Dirty Dozen" type people are more interesting to me than academy grads. I know 6/9 has some episodes, but when I hear him in interviews there is a thoughtful guy back there (Only 2 things he fears is "God and the FBI" lol). He probably dies young and knows it (he's too erratic)

He was 19 when he had an "interlude" with a 13 yr old at a party. That can happen easy and I dont count it as "child molesting." I subbed in a ghetto school and some 13 yr olds there are built like 18 yr old Sofia Vegaras and they have more sex than a lot of guys in college. Its not like he's jumping girls in the bushes up the park lol. 12 and 13 yr olds can still get married in quite a few states in US.

Are you a fan of Stryper? I love hard rock, but never really got into them. New tune:

Nope. Heard of them but never into that style of music.

However, Yachtman really delivers in that song above. I was surprised I kinda like it.! Lol

He’s one amazing and versatile Sir.

He's also guilty of buying views and spins on the digital platforms. Not to mention the snitching

No, my daughter had a little crush on him years ago and we had his CDs and Bieber dolls.. he had many dinners with Barbie.. Lol
The Comedy Central roast of Bieber was hilarious and he took it well. That's the nicest thing I can say about him.

Made a separate thread too, but here is a new song from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Sounds great on first listen:

New Goo Goo Dolls album ("Miracle Pill")

Does every new song have to sound like an anthem with a chorus singing? The Goo Goo Dolls used to be a solid power pop/punk band. Bands grow up and evolve, but holy smokes why does so much new music sound derivative of 21 Pilots these days?

The pop stuff does. Its all formulas and marketing. A chorus was found to be key to hits. Same thing happened to the movies years ago. Accountants and lawyers run the show. That's a reason I look for stuff on the margins

Wanna write a pop song? Here’s a fool-proof equation
