Anyone watch the documentary, “Meet me in the Bathroom”, on Showtime?

It’s about the music scene in New York late 1990s into the 2000s. Featuring The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol, Moldy Peaches, etc.

Sounds cool. I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

Not exactly new music, but the reconstituted Pantera with Zakk Wylde on guitar and Charlie Benante on drums at their first concert.

New Winery Dogs. Fantastic supergroup with Billy Sheehan on bass, Mike Portnoy on drums and Richie Kotzen on guitar and vocals. Each of these guys are virtuosos. Billy Sheehan stands out. He will be 70 in March. Very fast-paced hard, blues-rock:

new Puscifer album out:

Not a new album.

"Momma Sed," taken from the newly released concert film: “V is for Versatile: A Puscifer Concert Film featuring music from the V is for… era.” The song, originally released on the 2007 album "V is for V***na," and later re-imagined by Dave "Rave" Ogilvie and Colin Janz for the companion remix album ("V is for V***ra"), was recorded at Los Angeles' Sunset Sound. Joining the core Puscifer trio of Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell and Carina Round are Gunnar Olsen (drums), Greg Edwards (bass) and Juliette Commagere (vocals/keyboards).

I ran through a gamut of irrational emotions when I stumbled across this this morning.

It's brand new but from beyond the grave. In their prime I loved these guys and this lineup.

Sad video but a great NEW tune.

Second single from Winery Dogs' upcoming third album III. Supergroup featuring Richie Kotzen, Billy Sheehan and Mike Portnoy. Fantastic bass solo by Billy at end of the song. They are touring in February and March with dates in the area in February.

Late to the thread on this one, but wound up on Bob Dylan's YouTube page, and started listening to his latest album released in June 2020. Some solid work.

First new music in 20 years by one of my all time favorites, Peter Gabriel.

Could fit right in with his past work, unlike some of the tired output you get from aging rock stars after a long break, Very much looking forward to the rest of the album and his upcoming tour.

Not a fan of these, but here goes (prefer less guttural, growling vocals):

New Metallica single from upcoming album. This song is a burner. See James' Tweets below and the lyrics.

Welcome to this life
Born into the fight
Here to claim your dream
Look you in the eye
Patch the broken sky
Craving dopamine
Then my voice appears
Teaching you of fears
Are you good enough?
You don’t recognize
Head is full of lies
You should just give up
Listen well, better listen well
Listen well, better listen well
Don't ever speak my name
Remember you’re to blame
Keep me inside
Keep me inside
My name is suicide
Curse another day
Spirit locked away
Punish and deprive
Hate to be awake
Living a mistake
More dead than alive
Then a voice appears
Whisper in your ears
'You are good enough'
Throwing down a rope
A lifeline of hope
Never give you up
Listen well, better listen well
Listen well, better listen well
Don’t ever speak my name
Remember you're to blame
Keep me inside
Keep me inside
My name is suicide
Terrified in sleepless nights
Caught in spotlight dead to rights
Isolate and fight your mind
Telling you you’re left behind
My lying voice inside
Keeps drinking cyanide
And no more can you run
Into the sun
Terrified, sleepless nights
Caught in spotlight dead to rights
Isolate and fight your mind
Telling you you’re left behind
And now you speak my name
You've given back the blame
Keep me deep inside
Don't you keep me inside
Screaming suicide
Now that I'm exposed inside
Shined a light on cyanide
I'm no longer needed here
Now you've faced your biggest fear

If anyone like me is into Jam Bands, this kid Daniel Donato is a a young prodigy…. 21 years old, just saw him open for Umphrey’s and he stole the show

He is a fantastic musician, I really like his whole “Cosmic Country” concept. Very good band.
