Purdy showing why he was a 7th rounder. 49ers will draft a QB this offseason or trade for someone who can help shoulder the load when needed.....

Just read this about Love

"Between his freshman year of high school and his first year of college, Love grew nine inches (23 cm) in height and gained 80 pounds (36 kg)."

Now THAT is a growth spurt

I questioned the money paid to McCaffery when 49ers signed him but with 128 yds and 2 TDs rushing its paying off (and leading league in rushing). Somebody knew what they were doing in that deal.

CMC was extended by Carolina... Niners traded a lot of picks to acquire him last year. Definitely worked out for them.

Melton’s catch got my entries into top 10 on some of the Saturday only DFS contests on draftkings! The Doubs catch on the final drive put me into 1st place on most of them, including the 500k special! Hoping the stats remain as is when I wake up!

Was hoping for one of the young QBs to win and continue on, but SF and Baltimore are the #1 seeds for a reason.

Glad Detroit won. I think that will be a really good game next week and has an old school vibe.

WTF…..why did TB go for 2 there?
Analytics, and it makes sense. If they make the 2 point conversion, then with another TD then just need an extra point to win outright. If they miss the 2 point conversion, it’s still a one possession game. NFL 2 point conversion rate is typically around 50% (maybe just below that) so odds of not converting on 2 straight attempts is low.

But the win will always be in play if you kick the XP and get down there to score the TD. At some point, someone is going to stand up and tell the 2 pt. analytic nerds to f-off. Why chase it? 😂

I get it, but it’s entirely based on statistics. More often than not (assuming TB scores the required 2 touchdowns), it would work out in their favor.

It improves the chances of winning and you're seeing more and more coaches do it...I'd guess it will continue to become more common as we move forward.

If you're going to go for 2, it makes much more sense to do it after the first TD. You miss after the first one, and you've still got the chance to go for it again after the 2nd to tie it up. You miss after the 2nd one, and you're screwed.

Really torn over this game, as I love Pacheco and want to see him advance with the Chiefs, but I have a real soft spot for the Bills, given how great their fans are and how much heartache they've seen in Super Bowls. Even moreso with the Lions. Would love to see a Lions-Bills Super Bowl so that at lost one long downtrodden city will get some redemption.

But you can still tie it and go to OT. Classic overthinking.

Give me a hit off that bong - Purdy is one of the most accurate passers out there and he's growing into a very good QB. He's the starter until further notice.
Yeah lol he was only the #1 QB in the league statistically all season after only starting 1.5 seasons, with the highest QB rating and yards per reception avg in the league by a large margin.

He had a hard time with the slippery ball. Not going to be an issue rest of the playoffs, and he led the game winning drive.
