No problem with the Jets picking a top OL. Not only does it help AR, it just makes the run game better. Grab another WR in the 2nd.Jets better take Bowers !

One of the OT’s they signed is oft injured.Time will tell.
My issue with taking an OL in round 1 is that Rodgers has a short window and it takes time for OL to develop.
The Jets signed 2 OTs in free agency and this guy will not even start.
I also think Bowers is going to be really really good ! .
There will be some, if not many, starts needed at tackle.Time will tell.

CBS now has him 40th to Washington while Athlon has him 74th to Atlanta.Melton seemingly has a decent shot to go in Round 2 now. ESPN has him ranked at the 21st best prosect available as of this morning. Would love to see him on the Giants. He fits what they need too.
Can you bet on the draft? To my surprise the Wynn sports book did not have one tv showing the draft…not one. They had baseball, hockey and an nba preview show.
Odd!
Atlanta decisions the past year:
- We aren’t interested in Lamar Jackson
- We aren’t interested in Bill Belichick
- Kirk Cousins coming off a ACL injury for $100m guaranteed!
- One month later, Michael Penix Jr at #8!!
3 and 4 are interrelated considering Penix' injury history. Many on X questioned if he would be durable in the NFL. Kirk may have some company on the IL/IR or whatever the NFL calls it.Atlanta decisions the past year:

Several teams at the end of the first (Ravens were another one) that needed a CB were very lucky with how the draft played out.Eagles got lucky with CB Quinyon Mitchell at # 22
22. Philadelphia Eagles: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo - Grade: A
Never say an NFL decision-maker can't change his ways. First, Howie Roseman finally made a splashy running back signing this offseason by securing Saquon Barkley. Now, he broke the Eagles' first-round cornerback drought that dated back to 2002, when the team picked Lito Sheppard. Mitchell is a legitimate top-10 talent in this draft, with elite ball skills and the size, speed and composure to thrive in man coverage with more experience. The marriage of need and value is outstanding, and the Eagles didn't have to part with other picks to get here.
Yep, RBs aren't getting hit in fantasy football and the career of NFL RBs are very short when compared to other positions. They need to get the big NFL money when they can and it's still there for themNo RB, no surprise. Ironic that RB is the most valued position in fantasy football, but is almost an afterthought in real football.
I think he'll most likely go tonight. Wanted him on the Eagles if they went OL in the 1st, but don't think they'll double dip at CB and get him now.Melton seemingly has a decent shot to go in Round 2 now. If you play a dynasty format, RBs are not nearly as highly valued.Yep, RBs aren't getting hit in fantasy football and the career of NFL RBs are very short when compared to other positions. They need to get the big NFL money when they can and it's still there for them

Someone posted that as a Meme on X. It would take a while to find it. But it was hilarious. That last one reminds me of when Frank Langella was pissed at Kevin Costner in Draft Day!
Agree, but I can't argue with either direction. I think the OLs they liked as first rounders were gone by 22, but they may have just prioritized DB over everything - and based on last season, not a bad choice.I think he'll most likely go tonight. Wanted him on the Eagles if they went OL in the 1st, but don't think they'll double dip at CB and get him now.
Did he ever say JJ was better than JH?Ouch. Harbaugh turns down the opportunity to trade Herbert and get JJ?
So much for him saying JJ had the best Pro Day he's ever seen.
Reminder that xoaches will say anything to pump up their players.
Bunch of blow hards all around...neither of these two got it right.CBS now has him 40th to Washington while Athlon has him 74th to Atlanta.
Hope CBS is correct.

Atlanta better win or else that front office will be known as one of the worst ever.Arthur Blank not happy with QB pick in 1st
And that is exactly what they did.....pass on BB to protect their jobs. Blank should have fired them on the spot.Atlanta better win or else that front office will be known as one of the worst ever.
Saving their own jobs by working to pass on Bill B and then paying a QB 100 million guaranteed and drafting a 24 year old at number 8. I read they are not getting production from their last 2 number 1 selections either.
