Heard Minter has torn triceps. Looks like out for year ! Tough blow !

Unfortunately bullpen was due for an implosion.

Terrible time however for it to occur !
There has been zero credible reporting that the triceps was torn.

I was just asking someone about that the other day. Thanks for posting.
Never did it for the Mets, but have done it for a Rutgers game at West Point.

Considering it for a game this year.

Mendoza on the game-ending error:

"We didn't make a play. Routine play, and we didn't make it."

Uncharacteristically blunt for him, IMO. I like it.

He has a way…and I like it too. Not just this instance but there have been other things too.

Acuna graduated off the list and was replaced by Will Watson at #29. He was a 2024 7th round draftee and has started off well with a 1.62 E.R.A at this point over 4 games and 17 innings.

A.J. Ewing and Marco Vargas were both promoted after the game so they'll be going to Brooklyn.

Tong insane K numbers in 4 innings. Santucci has been awful.

All 30 of these guys are better than Nimmo...

Just think. If that last double by Nimmo had not caromed off the stands and instead gone down the line then it surely would have scored all 3 runners and given him a 10 rbi game.

BTW- I sat him in 2 fantasy leagues today. You are welcome

Yesterday was a game that could have lead to a major letdown for most teams. These guys just crushed it.
Love this team.
Acuna May be for real

The role of Mets major regret has now fallen to Pete Crow-Armstrong.
And Baez actually did what we hoped we traded for that year...kick in the *** and double edged sword. Would have been really bad if we ended up with the bum but watching PCA just sticks there

Which was the more noteworthy event today. Brandon Nimmo's 9 RBI, or Jose Urena giving up a 5 run inning and still getting a save?
