Mets record thus far this season vs. American League is 11-10.
Not that impressive to me.
The American League teams they have played are 14 over .500 and for example- the Yankee games against the NL the teams are a combined 14 games under .500

Nope. Kbee just looked at the Mets schedule and couldn't believe their good fortune in playing six straight games at home vs. two of the worst teams in MLB. And correctly opined that it looked like the chance for a winning streak for the Amazins.

Palmquist was good in his last start - 2 runs and 3 hits in 5 innings, against an excellent offensive team (Cubs).

Stood on bizness this weekend. Now hope to get a split of the 4 in L.A
5-1 against these two was what should be expected and we did it. 2-1 against these two was Dodgers adds to the equation

Dodgers can rake but their pitching staff is in shambles. Mets get a break in that they miss Yamamoto. Dodgers projected starters are May, Kershaw, Gonsolin, and Knack. None of them instills fear, although Kershaw once did.
May and Gonsolin did too until the injuries hit them also. I think it was like 2-3 years that Gonsolin had a crazy good year. Just checked. In 2022 Gonsolin was 16-1 with a 2.14 era in 24 starts. Injury struck him in 23 and then he missed all of 2024 and is trying to regain that form. May on the other hand also missed all of 24 with injury after pitching to a 2.63 era in 2023. Overall 3.36 for his career.
