Mets need a pri€k in the clubhouse
Need winkers attitude in a everyday player
Jett Williams needs to be a PITA like dykstra

I know it’s baseball and it’s not as important or visible …..but ..

Hit by most pitches last few years , no fights just a shoving match that Arenado started , cards coach slams Alonso down and nothing was done about it

With such horrible umpiring McNeil was first player to get ejected just a few games ago , cursed to himself was ejected and just walks away.

Alvarez seems to be teams energy guy , drilled by kid who has no idea what he’s doing on the mound , NOTHING FROM DUGOUT , just marte with a half hearted smile and a small gesture towards mound

No one stands on top step and yells at pitcher “if you don’t know what you’re doing get the f—k off the mound or I’ll come out there and take you off “

Defend your damn teammate

Again 2 65 year old Announcers can’t be the most upset people in your organization

Clip from the Red Sox Netflix series
Millar was drilled , Pedro goes up to him and says who do you want ??

It doesn’t help that the Mets last championship was 40 years ago and it was filled with 25 guys on the roster that would protect their teammate even if they thought their teammate was a$$hole off the field

Looks like I was unduly optimistic. Got the number of runs right. Missed badly on the number of innings.
Not bad, from now on you are not Doctor Worm, you are:

Mets need more fielding practice. The Flying Squirrel needs his claws trimmed!!!

These games are tough on the heart !

I feel like Al Pacino in 3 “ Just when I think I’m out - they suck me back in ! “.

Peterson can’t see the mound again unless for garbage time.

Should Mets be lucky and make playoffs - Rotation needs to be the rookies ; Holmes and maybe Maneaa?

Unfortunately cannot trust Maneaa / Senga or Peterson.

Lets Go Mets!!!!!!

Padres a game and a half behind both the Cubs and Dodgers. Would love to have that first round at Petco.

I've been in Europe since last week so I haven't fully lived this roller coaster ride which is probably a good thing for me haha. I'm back Thursday so will be right back in it though. LGM!!

Oh Bing won last night to tie their championship series. Final game today. Big game from Reimer and Morabito made an amazing catch at some point. Get that title Bing.

Crazy thought with our veteran starters...Is there any way that that Hefner was having success with them earlier by getting them all to do something very similar in their deliveries and now the league has picked up on it. And now, it is pretty much like they are all tipping their pitches in the same exact way? And since the kids were not up here early, they do not have the same "tip"?
Asking because I have never seen an entire staff hit a brick wall like this at the same time. And Peterson has been pretty good for most of 2 years and now he is batting practice.

Or is it as simple as the league just figured out, make them throw you strikes. As we know that Hefner teaches to nibble and play out of the strike zone.

On a positive note...As most of us stated before the game- that was one hell of a lineup- top to bottom- no one to pitch to.

Soto is 100% trying for 40/40 and Lindor should get his 30/30 and if Alvarez plays like this for an entire year- wow. Since he came back up from his demotion, kid has been fire

Also- in regard to NL MVP...If the Met's make the playoffs in this final push and Soto keeps up what he is doing. His numbers are right up there with the 2 DH's and he plays the field every single day. My guess is that the voters will still either give it to their "Golden" gambler or the new name Schwarber...and I doubt anyone outside of Met's fans want to see Soto get it. So, he will finish 3rd, Lindor may end up number 5. Alonso in top 10

Why anyone wouldnt want to see these 3 together another 4-5 years is beyond me

I'd be very surprised if this is the reason. Peterson's breaking stuff hasn't been as sharp, and he's serving up more pitches toward the middle of the strike zone rather than near or just off the edges. In other words, more hittable. Why? I don't know.

He isn't used to pitching this many innings in a season. He's out of gas. Mets should not use him again for at least a week and only then out of the pen. Of course I have no idea who is going to pitch our season finale if the game has importance.

Nothing like a bullpen game when your season depends on it!!

Please..this is easy. Being a Mets, Rutgers and Jets fan..these hands have many calluses that I'm immune to all.
it's quite easily the worst (sports) existence possible. I don't know joy. I don't know victories. Just sadness
