RIP to a fine actress

So great as Wendy...some say bad acting there but she pulled that character off so well IMO

For a time in the 70s she had a quirky stunning beauty to her

Also memorable was i think she directed Fairly Tales series for cable with alot of big name actors

Hit trouble times after the turn of the century with weight gain and some bizarre interviews. Shame she fell so far

Did Jack finally catch up with her with his axe? 75 is young, but the story said she died from complications of diabetes.

RIP.

Two of the articles linked in the article linked above are interesting:

She looked rough and was obviously suffering from mental health issues in 2016. Dr. Phil tried to interview and get her mental health care, but she declined. Those close to Duvall accused Dr. Phil of exploiting her mental state and trying to get her help. Some people go over the edge and are beyond help.

The 2021 Hollywood Reporter interview-chain smoking and too many cherry scones will lead to an early death:

"her breathy, Minnie Mouse voice gone gravelly (she chain-smokes Parliaments)"

"Duvall arrives making jokes and raving about the cherry scones at the cafe next door. A waitress skips down the steps with one in hand and passes it to her through the car window. “

RIP Shelley Duvall you weren't the typical leading lady, but your talent made you a real good one.
