OT: Ruth Westheimer dead

I just read up on her, never knew her background. She's a Holocaust survivor, sent at age 10 to Switzerland shortly after Kristallnacht, the "Night of Broken Glass". All of her family ended up being killed.

Nothing scientific about Westy
The whole "sex therapy" field was full of kooks and pervs like Alfred Kinsey when Westy was "studying" for her sociology and education degrees - she was never a "doctor" in ways people think.
Ruth (4' 7") used the fish out of water model - an older European with academic veneer talking potty sex to young people.
She aligns with the Herbert Marcuse/Frankfort types at Columbia.

Met her at Clothier 3 in 1981. She did a sex talk at our dorm. Sadly I had no need for the advise LOLOL.
Used to listen to her radio show with friends (both men and women) on my floor (Frelinghuysen 4th 1981-82). Fun times!

Used to fall asleep on Sunday nights listening to her when I was in high school
I was in 11th grade when that Sunday night radio show was getting it's best ratings. That's all we talked about at the lunch table on Monday. Good memories. Thanks Dr. Ruth.
