Doesn't every "winning" trade have a corresponding "losing" trade? For everyone that bought NVDA before the AI pump, something sold those shares. Right?
That’s very different than what we are talking about. I don’t have an issue if he made money from the shorts. My issue is he needed other people to go long to make money. Those that went long and lost money is my issue.

ETA GME should issue more shares asap.

I think of it this way. Everyone saw the price going up and had the same amount of time to assess and decide what to do. Buy, hold, or sell. KG seemed to really think the stock was a good buy and spent hours breaking down charts, forecast, and fundamentals. He was very transparent on what his position was.

The "bad guy" in this situation was Robinhood for manipulating trading.

Wonder he bought GME before he posted today? Must be right again because he will make money. There were a lot of 🦍 that lost money on that trade. But why let the facts get in the way.
I thought the same thing. Did he take a position before the post lol. Always look at that kind of thing with a raised eyebrow.

No different than any advisor, investment shop, or financial pundit on CNBC.
That's true too. I think plenty of insider trading and other shenanigans goes on. It's unfortunate for the Joe Retails like myself but I acknowledge and accept that's just the way things are and will still play this "game" and navigate it the best I can.

Any thoughts MCD's pullback? Been eyeing some dippers/bottom feeders.....SBUX, BA, MCD, etc.
MCD just announced it's coming out with a $5 dollar meal with nuggets, burger, fries, drink to try to get back some of those value conscious consumers. It popped last week on that news. I suppose it depends on how well it works. I'm sure LLY, NVO are hoping it works haha.

SBUX, less sure about them. China hurts them too. It has held that high 60s low 70s support level for now though.

MCD may be a buy now. As for SBUX, been reading that when SBUX sh!ts the bed, it is normally for multiple quarters before turning it around. SBUX (and MCD to a lesser extent) just pushed prices way too far.

MCD has very strong support in the low 250s area, was waiting to see if it would get that low but it hasn't yet.

My RIVN trade looking better.... my alamo was $8.50. I doubled my shares there, then added a little at 9.50 last week. I like the product, looks cool. Ultimately, I just hope they get bought and I can cash out.
I need to come up with a sale price in my mind, if it hits $xx price I sell... not sure what that is yet

WTF is up with Etrade today. Been trying to get in since before the open and just goes nowhere and "too busy" notifications. No other platform having issues. Just me? I just need to do one small but quick and important trade.

Called..."your estimated wait time is 90 minutes" lol.

I just need to sell some Meta to get some quick cash for a Landscaping project that got moved up yesterday. The one damn time I need it fast...

EDIT: YYYYEEEAHHH Finally.

Sell sell sell. You’ll have a chance to buy it back cheaper. I just don’t see any reason for it to breakout. R2 is just too far away.

GME up 170% as of the premarket since yesterday, AMC 187% in the same period lol. Return of the memes.
Gives you a lot of confidence in this market

Both companies should issue a boatload of stocks to improve liquidity.

There is some speculation that Kitty's X account may have been hacked (i.e., not him posting). If true, GME is going back to $10 in a blink of an eye.

If it is him and he confirms it, GME going to MARS!

Why wouldn’t he confirmed it’s been hacked asap? GME better issue shares fast.

Are copper stocks an AI play?

Hear me out . AI needs tremendous amounts of electricity. Electricity flows through copper wires.

My one copper stock SCCO has been going nuts. I bought it in the 60’s during the Chinese real estate bust in 2022 and it’s doubled since then. Thoughts?

Many people are using utilities and infrastructure companies like GE Vernova as AI plays. No reason not to add copper into the mix.

Wonder if there was a cap on how much they can issue? Because they should print as many shares as possible.
I actually bought GME today (not a large amount) at ~$40. I then sold $55 call options expiring this week for $11 and bought $30 put options expiring this week for ~$1.75. Let’s see how this goes. I plan to get out by next week at the latest. If I get called out then I still will make 50% profit and have limited downside with the put option.

Read that there is a short squeeze on Copper. Not a joke
