Agreed it’s sleazy and a stupid system. I think Portnoy enjoys poking fun at the ridiculousness of it

Larry Ellison becomes world’s richest person
Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison has dethroned Tesla CEO Elon Musk as the world’s richest person.

Ellison’s net worth grew a massive $101 billion Wednesday morning to $393 billion, surpassing Musk’s $385 billion fortune, according to Bloomberg.

The surge in Ellison’s wealth comes after Oracle’s stock soared 40 percent Wednesday.

The company reported earnings late Tuesday, touting several multibillion-dollar contracts that are expected to result in $455 billion in future revenue.

“It was an astonishing quarter—and demand for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure continues to build,” Oracle CEO Safra Catz said in a statement.

I was up over 1% early yesterday only to fall back to even by the end of the day.

Up over 1% early today, let's see if it holds.

PANW pushing up towards $200 for the 4th time this year. Been rejected the 3 previous. Figure once it breaks through it should go on a nice run.

Son, you don’t own enough ORCL! :)
All my accounts were up yesterday but my personal account was screaming green. Not just Oracle, but AVGO and several other AI plays were up big. Even my value ETFs and VIG was up nicely due to ORCL.

I was going to mention this the other day when you were talking about trimming HOOD.

Too many companies I've sold have absolutely ripped after the fact.

Their earnings report does not justify a buy. You should get out of it on any rip higher. BBAI needs to prove itself before anyone buys the stock. Given how good this year has been, you should be able to offset the losses with profits from other stocks.

Bought IOT. Ripped on earnings but then gave a good chunk back.

currently high $30’s.

MS has a neutral weight rating but the stock price at that time was mid $40’s. They have a base case price target of $53.

More and more i am hearing of established business converting over to the blockchain. Its why Lee is in on Ethe. thinks financials like JPM and GS are already technology stocks and thinks the sector as a whole will rerate accordingly.

i do own a bunch of financials. I don’t own Eth but the talk does make me think I need to buy some.

i do own SOL.

Probably a good idea to get some ETH skin in the game. I’m using ETH perp futures via COIN, but may convert to an etf once staking is approved.

Just notice that Jan 2028 option contracts have been posted! This is a great time to lock in some new leap call plays on beleaguered bellwether stocks looking for a turnaround. Perhaps CMG, SBUX, NKE, LULU, etc. Maybe a few home run swings with SOUN or RIVN? I'll dive into this tomorrow.
